As far as those leaving are concerned :- AWB - definitely, I cannot see us hanging onto him Coming in :- We'll need another right-back. We have been linked in the past with Mo Diame on a free, Oliver Burke (but he can't even make the Celtic first now), Eze (QPR), Watkins (Brentford).

I'd like us to go for a dead ball specialist who can take corners and free kicks well. Think it will improve our number of goals. The Weed have the highest number of goals scored from set pieces in the league supposedly. Think this area could bear fruit with us. Also I would like to see some improvement in our present attackers in front of goal, practicing hard. Some player needs to start showing the way. Somebody behind the scenes in the transfer market wouldn't go a miss as well who might be able to pull a few gems internationally as we are lagging behind the likes of Watford in that respect. I'd like Mitrovic. Sell Benteke if anyone will take him then make that happen. I'd also like Mooy from Huddersfield, I like him a lot. I think we'll keep hold of AWB and no top 6 team will take Zaha.

Im not sure about 35m for Bats - he's help ed us this year, but 35m seems a bit steep, he looks like A 15-20m for me, but that aint gonna happen. I mentioned before, if we sell AWB, I reckon well stump up The 35m, but I think it'll be a mistake at that price.

I'd go with that. Mitrovic adds aggression which we have missed in the final third while Mooy is a dead-ball specialist and has looked Huddersfield's key player for the last two seasons. Any other signings would depend on who leaves. I do think AWB may prove too hot for us to keep although Zaha may not have done enough this season to convince anyone to part with the sort of money Parish would likely want. If Hodgson stays I could see Meyer going on loan back to Germany as it hasn't really worked out for him in Roy's system. I think Bentenke could well leave too, as I think the club may no longer be willing to pay his large wages if they can find a taker. I also wonder if Sakho may look for a move to a big French club given his return to the national team.

Definitely need a player who can deliver a decent ball and a striker that can convert. If the Beast leaves it will be a big hole in the defence as has been seen recently. Re Wilf and A1B, if Spurs fail to make Champions League, they will have to balance the budget with reduced income and stadium over runs. Arsenal have no transfer funds available. Chelsea facing possible transfer embargo. Only leaves Man U, City and Liverpool to nick our players. Wilf for Mane might be a worry if he goes to Madrid. Not sure he would go back to United after the way he was treated last time. Could see either United or City after A1B, but not sure how much they would offer. Whatever it is, he is worth more.

If Cardiff go down I think Camarasa would be a fantastic signing for us. Dead ball specialist and has pretty much been the only reason Cardiff are still in with a shout of staying up this season.

Dreamland More Realistic I guess it'll all depend on what happens with Wilf and AWB. But hopefully we'll just be strengthening. Edited by samprior (06 Apr 2019 6.14pm)

Edited by samprior (06 Apr 2019 6.14pm) We do need strengthening in the CB area, owing to the vulnerabilities of Sakho and Tomkins in terms of injuries. Konya seems a good young CB with bags of potential available at a decent price?

Ezri Konsa can play at centre-half, right-back or in central midfield.Brentford signed him from Charlton for I believe £2.6 Mill. At 6ft he is not the tallest defender but has the physicality to compete. He deals with balls in the air well, has a great deal of pace and has good positional awareness. What stands out is his impressive physical shape and this provides him with the physicality to cope with the battles.

Thanks Willo, good post. What about Che Adams upfront?
