The club appear to have scheduled a beer festival for cup final day. Bit pessimistic if you ask me.

I want Palace to win the Cup. I've been to both finals against Manure and hoping and praying we get them again and give them a stuffing. Not fussed about winning the premier league (until next season).

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

There were big changes happening at the club anyway with Whelan looking to hand over the reigns. Anyway all though we are currently only 3pts off the drop I think we are in a much better position than Wigan were during their cup run.
One of the biggest mysteries in life is that loud stupid people normally don't have even the slightest inclination that they are stupid. |

Steve,Roy and Luka have said the priority is to maintain are prem status. Much as I want the club to win the FA in my life time I understand that to grow our club we need to keep hanging on in the prem, even if it is by our coat tails every season because Steve wants Palace to be the club of his boyhood dreams just as much as the rest of us. We bloody the nose of one of the big boys every now and then, but that’s about it, sooner or later it’s going to catch up with us, so we might as well have an FA Cup win under our belts. As been mentioned, I bet any Wigan fan wouldn’t swap their FA Cup win just to be back in a constant premier league relegation battle year after year.

As been mentioned, I bet any Wigan fan wouldn’t swap their FA Cup win just to be back in a constant premier league relegation battle year after year. They wouldn't swap it but it was inevitable that Wigan and Portsmouth would go down at some point as Wigan didn't have the fanbase and Pompy didn't have the stadium to maintain their premiership status. The longer we stay in the premiership, the more likely it is we will be able to compete for the cups on a regular basis. There are 6 premiership clubs going into the last 8, only one is below us in the league. We also should be no where near relegation with the team we have.

You think with the squad we have we'dn be futher up the table and yet here we are again with the same old problem. Our strikers with cursed bad luck. look at Bats on sunday clean through thinking knowing what he is going to and his 2nd touch goes wrong and another chance is missed!
