Anonymous virtue signalling. Interesting concept. I'm anonymous, don't know anyone on this site, couldn't give a f*** what anyone on here thinks of me and couldn't care less about my opinion being palatable or laudable. And I think this topic is lame as f***. Tragic. If there was a hint - even the merest suggestion of a hint - of any wit or imagination then maybe. If it's genuinely funny enough. But we have 'Hurr, hurr, ain't some women dogs?' and 'Blimey, that Pam Ayres, worrapig.' Really? REALLY?? Jesus. She's a f***ing elderly poet, not a f***ing centrefold. 'Horrendous Looking Sex Objects'. Fair enough. But we have 'Aint it funny how not eveyone's gorgeous? 'Specially old ones. Eh, lads?? Hyah hyah.' Hilarious. If that's "fun" then God help us. Goes a long way to explaining why this place isn't a patch on what it was for funny. 'Kinell. Edited by Eustace H. Plimsoll (08 Feb 2019 10.51pm)

I'll wager she's better looking than anything either of us have been near in an age and she was certainly pretty once upon a time, but I'll take your view on. And she puts(/put?) herself up as a sexualised object. But Pam Ayres. (As if PA would f*** half of us anyhow...)

Strewth there's a claim! I'd rather be forced to slip her one than have to sit through her set, awful "I'm fat and I hate my husband" routine.

We must try harder everybody, Mr Plimsoll wants wit and imagination and is prepared to come onto threads to complain about it. Quick, find a Wilde quote or he's gonna swear with asterisks again.

sad thread, when this the limit of alpha maleness. I understand a knee jerk reaction to empowered women, and that some men feel weak, but this is at best childishness.
That is the general theme of the forum these days, try to offend, wait to be called out then make out the world's going to pot, say snowflake etc, then the usual 6 or 7 bandwagon jumpers jump on, in which you could probably recite their responses word for word before they press the post message button

We're all human, but mature emotional control should trump outrage. It seems to be fashionable to bleat away demonstrating ever heightening levels of intolerance to words, when the desired effect of looking virtuous is often the reverse.
