The cricketers aren't very bright then as it is the England and Wales Cricket Board that they were playing for

To be fair, if it was before 1997 it wasn't. That would've had to have been one of his first games/tours mind you as he debuted in 1996.

Optimistic as ever

Back then I think it was still the TCCB, Croft played for England in the late 1990's

First and foremost it's none of our business who someone supports its just a game of cricket when all said and done.

Remember a story about Welshman Robert Croft who played for England who were on a winter tour one year whilst the England V Wales was being played at rugby, the whole England cricket team watched it in a bar and Croft was cheering for Wales in front of his England team mates, think words were said about him being unpatriotic and it got a few backs up.

In a sense that's right.

But come on.....this is a forum....we spend a lot of our time discussing stuff that is none of our business.

Robert Croft took the cash that came with being an international cricketer....For his career it was probably the sensible thing to do as Wales is intrinsically linked with the England team....I don't blame him....just like I don't blame Black Eagle.

No Stirling I see myself as British but with Jamaican roots.

Proud to be British but equally proud of my Jamaican roots.

And before you ask yes I have been to Jamaica.

Isn't that what I said? Besides if you're born in England then you're English by birth.

As for the dual stuff I'm not a fan of it....but I guess it's unavoidable in many families when you're second generation.

Crazy batting collapse. Fifty per cent of England's innings seem to be a collapse. I bet Boycott is holding court, regailling the lack of grit, patience and application of the England batsmen. Arguably WI have improved somewhat from a couple of years ago but can hardly be described as a top side.

Was hoping that show of rain was going to give England a break and rethink their approach but it then stopped. This game is when and truly gone not playing Broad has been a big mistake

Lack of preparation and picked the wrong side.
Only the weather can save England and I don't know the forecast.

Gone are the days when the likes of Boycott,Border etc used to dig in, showing grit and determination and not throwing their wicket away. These days it is all about being aggressive and scoring runs at a good rate.
