If we cannot spend diddly this Jan due to FFP inevitably we may well be squeezed out of the league. Maybe we can get through this season without strengthening in ceetain areas this month (badly needed in my view) not sure in the future though. Add in the seeming inflated wage bill and the squeeze is even greater.

Nope I didn't think he did it solely for the love (not sure why you got the impression I did) that's why I asked the question. I have read previous comments where he stated he didn't take a wage but that obviously must have been in the past so I wasn't sure if his financial benefit was just the growth in the value of his shares or if he was salaried as well.

This is back in 2017. I imagine his salary has only gone up.

I’m actually intrigued to know where the mooted £100m investment that was allegedly ring fenced for the stadium/infrastructure is hiding. I presume one of the holding co’s in Delaware. Can’t find any way if digging out that info, then again, in Delaware you don’t even have to make directors names public.
