This. I was walking away from Wembley with my pals and a Watford fan had the cheek to tell me 'we're pretty quiet for a team that's just been promoted' - I laughed and replied 'we're knackered from making all the noise inside the stadium'. Funniest thing I experienced at Wembley was walking back to the station after the play off and there was this copper who was about 6’8” and built like a brick s***house directing fans and saying Premier league this way, Championship this way. The Watford fans loved that, not, but funnily enough said nothing. I would have gladly paid that copper’s overtime that day myself.

Muggy little club. The away end will be a "big day out" tomorrow, their fans are very special... just one of those annoying clubs you come across like Huddersfield.

I too particularly dislike them. Every time I see them on TV their fans always seem to be singing the exact same ones that we do. I know its common in football, but they do it more than everyone else. Their main home stand behind the goal comes across as very club sponsored and fake with all their matching flags. Similar to Leicester and their free clappers really. The reality is that we are clubs of similar size but it feels like they are jealous of us (for some reason!) and are Palace wannabes. I think they were in awe of the Palace fans following the 2013 playoff final and it's stemmed from there. Their stadium is alright, it has some character and I'd take it over a boring Southampton/Leicester boring bowl. It's about as good as ours, which is a sh1thole, but its our sh1thole and I wouldn't want it any other way. Controversially, I actually quite like Troy Deeney. I find him refreshing as he tells it how it is. I find his interviews honest and entertaining (I am aware of his past). He's a decent, passionate striker too. The sort you'd love if he played for Palace.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Christ - and he's a Watford fan! I know I said in my previous post "if the above doesn't make you green around the gills then Troy Deeney will."

I feel, personally the most rivalry to watford, out of any club. It's personal.. their captain has come out and said they took turns in kicking lumps out our star man? We witness them do it... the fans have an agenda with us, the mascot even gets involved - shows it's not just tabloid or pub talk - from the captain down through the stands to the mascot they have issue with us and i personally want us to dish it right back where it hurts. Charlton, we'll never see the clowns again... so yeah, watford - wannabe london club that is punching above it's weight.

I'm sure we all agree that Kevin Muscat is a wrong'un, despite having turned out for us a couple of times (to our discredit). As for being an ok footballer, not for me Clive. Talentless and classless. A hatchet merchant.

If Watford do what they do and if the referee has made himself aware of their nasty tactics in advance then there may well be a sending off this afternoon.
