Don't panic most asylum seekers stop before they reach these shores. The UK receives considerably less applications than Germany, Italy, France & Greece. Being able to speak the language would be a distinct advantage if you want to start a new life in a new country. I suspect those coming across the channel have a bigger grasp of English than other European languages.
I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

The point being made is that because of what they regard as faulty foreign policy that we should take responsibility for people from countries that might be affected by those policies.
