Sterling has really let himself down here and so has Tyrone Mings. He gets a tough time from the UK media, that’s true. He gets it for the same reason as Rooney did - on a high salary, performs well for club and seemingly doesn’t give a toss when representing England. He’s probably an alright bloke but these things don’t put him in a good light with the public. He gets abuse at away grounds just like other decent players. Does Zaha get abused by opposition fans because he’s black or because they’re trying to put him off his game? He now deserves the abuse he gets at games. Not because he’s black but because he’s a tosser for pulling out the race card. As for the Chelsea fan, if it was racist it’s disgusting and he should get a ban, which I’m sure he will.
