Another solid organised defensive performance. Clearly misding Wilf though.

Apart from the traditional '40min+' holding my breath a very good half.
Corners are a leveler and we've had plenty, just need to make one (or more) count.

Good job lads.

Well, with Zaha missing I think I'd take a 0-0 at the break. In January Hodgson REALLY needs to invest in a goalscorer. Seen us linked with Welbeck but I'm not really sure he's the "goalscorer" we need.

A player with a goosed ankle would fit right in.

You think Ayew cares one bit beyond his paycheck?

This is it exactly, I hear people on here saying; "good performance, with a little luck we would have/should have won that" or words to that effect, like it's a good thing. We're a good team, apart from the fact we can't score goals and the opposition knows it, just keep probing and we'll get one eventually, not much chance of them getting one back. If you can't score you can't win, doesn't matter how the rest of the game is played. That's why it was so nice seeing Andos's brilliant clinically finished goal last week.

It must be soul destroying playing for us, seeing all that hard work cocked up right at the end.

Saying that, please prove me wrong today lads.

Very happy with that! It has been, and will continue to be a grind, but Spurs look so s***e that it doesn't feel like a matter of time until they score. Every chance of a point here.

On the negative side, Kouyate is a very clumsy tackler and Townsend's hair does not hold up well against rain.

Well you’re in luck as he’s long term injured so we aren’t signing him.

Five corners so far, not bad, but as in previous matches, no Palace player even close to connecting to any. Goals from a Palace corner seems only possible, if opposition gets a counter and scores. It is a mystery to me, how you can train professional footballers - at any level - to deliver so poorly 100% of the time...

Let's hope Roy is ready with some subs if it remains tight in the 2nd half. Son, Llorente and Eriksen all available for them. Good first half to keep them out and have a few chances as well. Same again please. COYP !!

I completely get your point under normal circumstances but add to that 2 of our most recent Managers are Pulis and Allardyce it really makes it more staggering.

We have literally been excellent at scoring from corners under 2 of our most recent Managers and that was largely the same 11 so it really must take some hard work to coach that out of them so quickly.

Welbeck broke a bone in his ankle the other night so he’s off the shopping list
