Why is everyone obsessed with getting Bolasie back? He wanted out, he got a bad injury. MOVE ON.. No obsession here mate, what's your beef with the situation? At the right price he would be a great back-up player to our squad.

From what I have read, Boro have offered £15m which has been accepted. Palace, given the choice of matching that, or buying Antonio for similar money, (or no-one if we have in fact run out of money) kind of makes for a tricky decision. I like Yala, but is he still worth £15m and have we got it to spend? Don’t think it’s tricky. If we were to buy one of them its got to be Antonio Edited by AshfordEagle94 (09 Aug 2018 1.34pm)

A couple of Chelski mates have told me that, as well as Courtois, Moses' picture has been removed from the big display at Stamford Bridge. This has produced speculation amongst theirs the Moses is on the way somewhere too - they wanted to know if it was us!
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

It's a marketing ploy to have their new GK on the wall. Moses is still painted on the other wall the opposite side. Shame because he deserves a couple more seasons as a winger rather than a boring right back. He has much more to him that we could let him express.

Fair enough - thought I'd ask as I've not seen SSN today.

Out of interest, is the general consensus that this has been a positive or negative window? Replacing Cabaye, RLC & Sako with Meyer, Kouyate & Ayew doesn't seem very convincing to me - and thats before we've even added squad players...
Dont let Cabaye go |

I think it has been very positive. We were at a point where we were at capacity in wages and squad size. We have had to let players go on free's to release us from their wages and we have been very shrewed in what we have spent to refresh the team and move forwards. Only way it could have been better imho is if we had managed to loan out or release players like Jairo, Williams, Puncheon, possibly Soure then we might have been able to get another player in. But, all we can do is offer players to clubs outside our control if they want to take them or if the player is willing to go

If the 3 newbies play to their potential and stay injury free I think they are an upgrade. Lots of ifs and buts however I am remaining positive.

I think Ayew is an upgrade on Sako, Meyer may turn out to be one of our best ever signings, and Kouyate is a reliable PL option. There might be a slight issue with balance, since RLC played on the left of a four and we haven't directly replaced that, but overall things look solid and we haven't spent too much when you consider all the wages we freed up.
