How would you know who has more knowledge and what contacts people have??

If Matteo claims to have knowledge and contacts then it's subjective and open to debate isn't it??

you are of course correct, it is all subjective.

however, i dont think he claims to have more knowledge than others, it just seems instead he proves it with words...and puts said views onto the site...surely better than what 99% of people post on the transfer forum?

Romanian league a few years ago, African Nations Cup where Cameroon won and Czech Republic league recently.
A beast really. Can also play centre back. Very good at set pieces because of his height, both in the offensive (scores goals) and in the defense.

So what do you do, sit all day watching obscure world football matches? Did you actually watch him play in Romanian and Czech leagues?!!
Im not judging in any way, I’m just interested to know.

It IS strongly suggested in the leak in the original post. I'm sorry if you do not speak Italian.

This is you version of strongly “The ds Tare would have put on the plate a four million euro offer per season for the Brazilian. Will it be enough to convince him that he earn eleven million a year in China? We'll see, Lazio does not give up.”

You also suggested the asking price of Tammy Abraham was £15m based off of a website called NUFCBlog

Proves what?

I find Matteo’s posts mostly interesting, but they are what they are, which are subjective observations from someone with a grasp of the news around Europe. As such, they are susceptible to the same misinformation as everyone else.

I think that the problem is that some people seem to think that Matteo is, for some reason, the font of all knowledge who should be given a role at the club. Other people think that Matteo should be treated as if he is infallible and have stones thrown at him for his opinion.

Neither is true. Matteo does not profess to have any inside information. His opinions are his opinions.

His words prove very little.

What proof should there be?

I spoke about Yoshinori Muto being available for 10 million and Newcastle got him for 9.5.

[Link]

I spoke about Florin Andone release clause going down from 30 million to 5 million after Deportivo got relegated and he was taken by Brighton for exactly that money.

[Link]

I spoke about Nani being available for under 5 million and Sporting got him for free from Valencia.

[Link]

Now I'm speaking sbout Hernani crom Porto who is available for 2-3 million. An obscure youngster from Benfica went to Nottingham Forrest this summer for 15 million!! All those Portugueste wingers who promoted Wolverhampton (Ivan Cavaleiro, Helder Costa, Diego Jota) cost more than 15 millions each. Any winger from Benfica or Porto costs more than 25 million (Brahimi, Salvio, Corona). So 2-3 million for a winger from Porto, just as good as the others, but who wasn't given chances, is an absolute bargain!

What I commented on in these threads has proven correct.

Batshuayi vs Benteke, Conte was still manager and he really fancied Benteke for some reason, he was looking at him and Andy Carroll in the winter, a deal could have been at least attempted. What is Batshuayi worth now and what is Banteke worth?

[Link]

First time I commented on this site I said Pardew is an idiot for playing Martin Kelly as right back and Ward as left back. Everyone threw insults at me, how dare I think I know better than the manager!! Then Allardyce came and he bought 2 attack minded left backs and the team improved significantly. Everyone is now like "Sure, that was easy to see" but I see these things before everyone else.

Everyone was trashing Townsend, I was the first to name him as my favourite player in the profile section 2 years ago.

When PVA was bought I said he was a great left back and everyone yelled at me that he doesn't know how to defend and he's trash.

Last summer I had a thread about signing El Shaarawy for 13 million, as requested by Roma. He stayed there and beat Chelsea by himself in the Champions League and scored many more goals. Had he come to Palace and done that in the PL he'd have been worth as much as Richarlison today, 1 year later.

What evidence do you want? There is evidence in football all around me. I need 5 minutes to see a player and tell you how his career is going to be. I knew Coutinho or Kingsley Coman will be amazing since I first saw them aged 17. I knew Soldado will never adapt to the Premier League or Gotze to Bayern because of being to slow or because of their weight problems. I knew Germany will leave the World Cup from the early stages:

[Link]

I knew England didn't play against top opponents even when people were saying how close the trophy is:

[Link]

I even knew which teams will be relegated from the PL. Check out my old posts, I specifically said Swansea, Stoke and WBA since winter, even though everybody had Huddersfield going down. I knew what transferred players will do at their clubs. I knew Diabate, who Calude Puel got from France's Ligue 2 because he was playing allngside his son, will not have an impact at Leicester and that he's not young anymore at 23. I knew Joao Mario will not have much impact and David Moyes will damage that squad a lot! I knew Steve Mounie would be good for Huddersfield or Jose Izquierdo for Brighton, even though they were foreigners coming to the PL the first time from France or Club Brugge in Belgium. I even knew what lesser players would do in lesser leagues, as I specifically said youngsters Donis Avdijaj or Sadiq Umar will play very well in the Eredivisie on loan from Schalke or Roma.

Nils Petersen, a German striker who I've suggested 1 and 2 years ago, has gone on to be one of the best poachers in Germany and made the extended squad of Germany for the World Cup, with his price trippling. I knew he would score that much just by looking at his goals to actual minutes played, which were great even though he had been just a substitute years ago. He needed game time, he got it at Freiburg and kept similar goals to minutes ratio.

So I don't know what further evidence I should provide. I think people should just about start listening to what I say, because I was less wrong than everyone commenting about football. Someone told me a month ago I was wrong about Mbaye Niang, the Milan winger who was on loan at Watford. Supposedly, I was wrong because I said he would do well in the PL and Watford decided against buying him after the loan. He played ok, but it wasn't an easy decision tompay 12-13 million for a player. In the end, AC Torion paid Milan that money and guess what? This summer, Arsenal showed interest in him!

Really not trying to be a show off here, but I know what I am and what I know and when someone tells me I'm not an expert and to provide proof, I have to show him that I know what I'm talking about!

And it's that statement that for me, shows you're a bit deluded about how you view yourself and your football knowledge..

Unless you are indeed a licensed scout or have worked in and around the top of football I'll treat your opinion as I treat everyone else's on here.

I just find this talk by people of the club offering you a role absolutely laughable. We could all roll out the stats and background that you do... All you need is Google and a lot of time on your hands. If you believe you are a legend in your own mind then that's up to you..

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Statto, statto, statto......

I struggle to keep up with the premier league so I have no idea how it's possible to have such a thorough knowledge of Europe and beyond!
