Presumably, if we sell Reideweld at a decent profit - with future add one and clauses, it may not be the worst business in the world. I don't really see the point in selling him unless it is for a very healthy profit.
If we are considering it, you would think we know we are getting at least one midfielder in - hopefully two.

I’m not sure he has what it takes for the prem, I keep almost forcing myself to rate him as he’s young and from Ajax. He’s neat and tidy but doesn’t look to have the confidence or pace for that level, it makes sense to let him go imho.

I guess that’s where the loans come in. Maybe we’re not actually relying on loans being the backbone of the team? I don’t know. Just a thought, or hope.

Loans to replace RLC and TFM you mean...

Good on him.

In Roy we trust and all that but his judgement isn't perfect. I'd say AWB would never had got his chance last season were it not to dire circumstances and I reckon there's a chance Roy starts the game v Fulham with Ward, who would be my (and many others) second choice right-back.

Feel a bit sorry for him. The fact he has been offered to Swansea is telling him he has no future here

Sun Sport reporting the following:

'However it wasn’t all good news for the Eagles who failed to complete a move for long-time target Jordan Ayew from Swansea after his proposed swap deal with Dutch international Jairo Riedewald fell through.

SunSport understands Hodgson was prepared to pay the Welsh club £2million and hand Graham Potter former Ajax ace Riedewald, 21.

But one of the players, understood to be the Dutchman, has had a change of heart and pulled out of the deal at the 11th hour.'

Can't help but feel that Riedewald would've had more impact at Swansea than at Palace and that we've also lost out on Ayew who probably would've been a great fit for our team.

A big relief if it is true that Riedewald is staying.

Sounds sensible given he’s a welsh international so will be accepted. I’d rather keep Riedewald than Williams
