I think De Gea to Real Madrid might be off.

Massive mistake. Think he signed a new 5 year contract at United anyway.

as a football nut...its hard not to get excited about the world cup, and personally i cant see why anybody cannot get excited about it.

the greatest footballing show on earth, every 4 years we get to see this spectacle, full of talent & always suprises / great matches.

i accpet that england wont get past the quartee finals, but that wont stop me enjoying the tournament.

the russia game, and tonights game were brilliant to watch, and you just know there will be many more like it.

We will beat Belgium and top our group. We will make at least the semis and with a bit of luck, hopefully the final!!

We have some young hungry players and I think Rashford will shine and be our star player in this World cup.

I blame the dieticians. Fish 'n' chips and 20 Rothmans was all the '66 squad needed.

Indeed, Johnno.

Mad, I know, but I put a tenner on Australia to win, at 11-1 with Coral.

They are doing well so far. Nice comment by Lawrenson after a French player went down like he had been shot 'he's gone down with a dislocated shoelace'.

To answer the original question, Yes.

So far the games have been terrific I watched the Spain game in the pub the whole place was buzzing even though we were neutrals.

Lets hope the rest of the tournament is like this. Oh and so far no dodgy decisions and VAR has not be intrusive.

c'mon England time to join the party.
