Tbh I am shi**ing a brick about the Weed game. If we had held on to our lead at Bournemouth last week then a draw against Brighton would not be too much of a bad thing.

As it stands we really need the 3pts from this one. I just hope Palace can really turn it on and reward us long suffering fans who haven't seen a comfortable home win all season (there's only been 4 of them anyway).

Brighton have a got a very tough run in so will see this game as a must win as well. I'd settle for 2-1.

I think we should all watch Finding Nemo before Saturday.

20k+ people all making those seagull noises would be brilliant.

We need to make up our minds on here exactly where the "mire" starts. There are plenty predicting that 34/35 will be more than enough to stay up this season, with some saying 33 or even 32. Brighton already have 35, so aren't they already safe, or does that only apply if we reach that target?

I will stick with what I have said before “ 38 points will do it” so Brighton are NOT safe yet....

based not just on our relative performances v Huddersfield, we're due one and they're tying up a bit, players back, can see a big margin win.

We can win of course. They're about the level of Newcastle, Huddersfield, Bournemouth or Swansea. However I think they'll start by trying to take the game to us, pressing high and attacking, so we'd better be prepared for that.

I'm with you on this... Despite the fact we haven't been winning much lately we have been playing well... All week I've had this feeling we will hammer Brighton tomorrow... it's almost like someone is due a spanking from us.. God I hope I'm right!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

On that basis Brighton will have a great day , if they win, unlikely, they will be happy and if they get spanked they will be delighted!

Against whom we've amassed 2 points out of 12 at home!

Anyway, I predict a Palace win by at least 2 goals.

You could probably make a good living getting paid to spank a few of them !

If they win they will definitely stay up and their run in matters not.
I think Brighton will go for it and Murray will score.
Other than that I refuse to make a prediction as I am too worried!

While I am not QUITE as pessimistic Brighton are certainly targeting this game and not simply because of the rivalry... they could be all but safe before their horrific run-in. We need the points more, certainly, but I actually think their run-in gives them added incentive for this game.

It’s this sort of game that has ‘nervy draw’ all over it.
