Tbh I am shi**ing a brick about the Weed game. If we had held on to our lead at Bournemouth last week then a draw against Brighton would not be too much of a bad thing. As it stands we really need the 3pts from this one. I just hope Palace can really turn it on and reward us long suffering fans who haven't seen a comfortable home win all season (there's only been 4 of them anyway). Brighton have a got a very tough run in so will see this game as a must win as well. I'd settle for 2-1.

I think we should all watch Finding Nemo before Saturday. 20k+ people all making those seagull noises would be brilliant.

Brighton already have 35, so aren't they already safe, or does that only apply if we reach that target? I will stick with what I have said before “ 38 points will do it” so Brighton are NOT safe yet....

This post has been merged from a topic called 'I think we'll spank them' by Midlands Eagle We can win of course. They're about the level of Newcastle, Huddersfield, Bournemouth or Swansea. However I think they'll start by trying to take the game to us, pressing high and attacking, so we'd better be prepared for that.

Despite the fact we haven't been winning much lately we have been playing well... All week I've had this feeling we will hammer Brighton tomorrow... it's almost like someone is due a spanking from us.. God I hope I'm right!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Anyway, I predict a Palace win by at least 2 goals.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

While I am not QUITE as pessimistic Brighton are certainly targeting this game and not simply because of the rivalry... they could be all but safe before their horrific run-in. We need the points more, certainly, but I actually think their run-in gives them added incentive for this game. It’s this sort of game that has ‘nervy draw’ all over it.
