This is nonsense. It has been proven so many times that the teams at the bottom are harder to beat when they are fighting for their lives and the big boys relax.
Also, as Palace often manage to screw up the "easy" games our bums should still be squeaking.
I think we'll stay up but there are no easy games in this league.

This link shows we have the easiest run in of the whole league.

Six points which will probably be enough, in fact I suspect 35 points and GD will be enough this year.

Very poor division this season. Thankfully.

Obviously if we get 4-6 points out of the next two games I will panic and start thinking that 42 points will be needed.

It is nonsense but quite interesting too.

Man City will have won the title in the next couple of weeks and could go from the hardest team to play to the easiest.

Everton, Leicester and Burnley are probably the best teams to be playing at the moment as they have nothing much to play for.

the only way we wont get enough points is we get injuries to key players, even with knobby up front.

8 points which should be enough, hope I'm wrong about Bournemouth next week, a win there would be huge in our fight for survival and put a lot of pressure on the teams around us.

This is the most likely i've seen so far, in my opinion. Although this being Palace - absolutely anything could happen!!!

Pep is the games biggest perfectionist. It won’t matter a jot that they won’t need the points. He wants to win at all costs.

Four points from our next three games, four points from our last three games. 38 points in total.

Leaves (2 of the 3 below having to happen):

Huddersfield needing 8 from 6, including 3 games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City.

Southampton needing 10 from 7, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.

Stoke needing 12 from 6, including Tottenham and Liverpool.

If 2 of the 3 above happen, then:

Swansea need 7 from 7, including games against Manchester City and Chelsea, so 7 from 5, and 2 of those games are against Stoke and Southampton.

If Huddersfield suddenly go on a run, then that will drop Brighton back in it.

In short, it is in our hands. A lot of things have to happen for us to go down. We better hope that the top 6 turn up against the bottom 6.

Further, just to compare our respective performances since week 7:

Palace 30 points from 25 games.
Huddersfield 22 points from 25 games.
Southampton 20 points from 24 games.
Stoke 19 points from 25 games.
West Brom 11 points from 25 games.

There is no evidence to suggest that we will not survive.
