Two senior starts. First Spurs and second United. I'm pretty sure any sane 20 year old playing right back would be concentrating on his defensive duties first and foremost... Going forward he's meant to be decent... he's played as both as a winger and a wing back for under 23's. In fact I think he may (someone correct me if I'm wrong please) played more in those positions than in an out and out right back role. Very talented kid. Bissaka must be the kid that Frank told Wardy to watch because Wardy couldn't play wing back (but never could or be expected to tbf).

He had a very, very good game against class opposition. I suspect though that he will be back on the bench for Chelsea as TFM returns in that position. I wonder what Roy will do when Ward is back as well? I think so too. Playing at home in the environment he knows and on the pitch he's played on many times is very different to Chelsea away. But you never know. He may not be phased by much at all.

The lad is class, simple as that. He will have his bad games as any other player, but he's miles ahead of Ward. A real gem and as some here has asked, how many more in our Academy? And why does it takes injuries to throw them in? Spurs & Man Utd - they don't come much worse than that for your 2 first PL-games.

what i feel we dont need to do is get to excited by the lad. i get it, weve had a pretty s*** season & he has definatly become a “bright spark”...but however, he is young & our expecatations need to be adjusted to that...i hope he goes on to be joel wards eventual replacement, but in the meantime he could learn an awful lot from our existing FB’s.

Surprised no one has drawn a parallel with Clyne who also seemed to make a sudden impact.

Roy is the perfect manager to keep his feet on the ground. He was singing the praises of the experienced players after the last few matches and didn't really mention Wan-Bissaka. He also went on about more players being back soon which is very clever as it means he needs to keep performing to retain his place. Clearly has class and certainly one for the very top if he can progress every season. Will be interesting to see if Roy sticks with him given our current problems or whether he goes back to the more experienced players like Ward for the run in?

He's played against Spurs, U****d and Chelsea and basically done practically nothing wrong in those 270 minutes of football against top sides. Took ten minutes to settle in the first of those matches and since then hasn't looked remotely out of place. Carried a threat with a few crosses as well so could help do some proper damage to the likes of Huddersfield, Bournemouth and weed.

I agree he has been outstanding defensively against the big clubs we have played in the last 3 games.
