Can't argue with anything here. Nothing to lose when you are that far behind. Definitely would have tried out Rakip for Cabaye otherwise as a loan signing it is a waste of time (unless of course he is not fit, or not considered good enough) in which case its a bit worrying as to why we took him in the first place. Exactly what I posted in the Rakip thread,
Where is the Joker shown, I haven't used it ? |

So let me get this straight. My assumption that because Roy made no substitutions as a message to the board even at 3-0 down means I believe Roy is trying to throw a premier league game?

Surely anyone who thinks Hodgson makes tactical decisions or substitutions (or non-substitutions) for reasons such as "wanting to make a point to the Board", "being pi**ed off with the transfer window" or "to stick his fingers up at Parish" is greatly underestimating the man. Hodgson is more than capable of telling the Board what he thinks without jeopardising our chances of winning points and he has far more integrity than a manager who would consider acting in that ridiculous manner. FFS.

I mean who would have Kane taking corners? In fact who would let Cabaye continue to take any of our dead ball plays...Now dont get me wrong - I think he deserves the freedom of Croydon or summat for his work so far this season but not bringing on Reiderwald for Jimmy Mac or Cabaye made no sense to me.
