Respectfully, just because the bloke at work is Norwegian means nothing. We must just trust both Roy and Dougie have an eye for a player. I remember the short term Dougie had with us previously. He may have seemed wayward in his judgement of employers, but, my God he knew a player and created quite a back-bone in the team. Roy ain't no new boy either.

I know anyone can look like Messi on youtube but the guy actually looks decent. He's only young. Hopefully he can adapt and push on seems as though he's got an eye for goal. Could be a steal. Hopefully it wasn't a panic and was someone we'd actually properly sounded out. Might help to motivate CB as he's got someone young and hungry hopefully challenging for his spot.

I know we've only seen the you tube clips but he does appear to have good footwork for someone bigger than Benteke and seems happy shooting with either foot. Looked quick enough against smaller defenders so I'm cautiously optimistic we might have a decent forward there once he's up to PL speed.

His dad seemed useful as well. Perhaps we should have gone for a BOGOF deal.

Just been looking at Bamford's YouTube highlights. If we're buying bouffants based off YouTube, then i suggest we go back in for the Chelsea reject. YouTube means Jack s***. If the club bought this fella off YouTube, then we are doomed I tell you. DOOMED. Actually, I strongly believe Bamford will make it in the PL.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Have a look at the link below, its from this season. He looks real quality. I appreciate its in the Danish league but there is a definitely a lot of potential there and i know from what i've heard Hodgson pushed for him to be signed because he thinks he could become a top player in the future Cant say i'm a great afficiendo of Danish football, but i'd estimate it's a few steps down from the Eredeviste. Didnt Robin Van Wolfswinkle score absolute hatfuls in that, and Dirk Kuyt? (the latter was actually decent, but just never remotely prolific in England). It's a punt on a kid who may or may not turn out to be decent in a year / 18 months. No way can you expect a player from Danish / Polish / Swedish leagues to come in and compete on an even footing in the EPL from day one. They may become good players, but at this juncture, massively massively risky.

There must be enough performance data available to compare new signings with and without premier league experience. They’ve had long enough to look at him. I have a feeling they’ve done their homework but time will tell!
