My only complaint is that they don’t strut their stuff nearer to where I sit

I think there is a reason for that ;-)

While I am sure they are all nice young ladies are they not as out dated as Debbie Does . In 2018 this is not the way we should be promoting our club. What do you think particuly women.

I'm choosing to be offended on their behalf..as seems to be the norm nowadays

I would if I hadn't clicked on his twitter profile. Ex-councillor.

I don't have a problem with them doing their thing and promoting the club, its a world apart from walk ons at the darts or "grid girls" at F1.

Today it was announced that F1 are banning walk on girls before the start of races. This follows on from darts taking the same decision.
With the PC brigade on a roll, how long before the crystals are banned at our ground?

they've already replaced pleated mini skirts with track suit bottoms - I'd have thought a slow transition taking in yoga pants would have been sensible

I expect we'll go back to the previous ones - slightly chubbier and younger and more amateur - but seemed to enjoy themselves.

No offence to anyone who's daughter (or son or gender-fluid child) was a previous cheerleader.

I know this 'objectification of women' has been done to death - but aren't the people complaining the same ones who used to complain about girls going out in short skirts? (I.E Mary Whitehouse types who no one would give a 2nd look at.)

If women are pretty and want to be ogled then let them. This may be their only way of feeling good - not as brainy as the other girls in Maths, not as sporty as the girls in P.E - so they use their looks to get on in life.

They don't seem to mind so why should other wimmin'?

I think all the Crystals should be asked if they enjoy their job and want to continue prancing around in front of a stadium full of men, women and children whilst dolled up to the nines and wearing short skirts.

If they do - fine carry on.
If not you can practice in my back garden every Saturday afternoon.

The Crystals will survive ... if they wear burkas!

Well they don't just stand around looking pretty. They are cheerleaders.

If the reason is objectification then it does seem rather tokenistic to single out girls at sporting events when we have lap dancing clubs and a thriving p*** industry.
The only reason why organisations would cave into such selective pressure is to avoid bad publicity and risk losing sponsorship. And to think that some Lefties on here were worried about 'fascists'.

What upset me about that FT story about the Presidents club was the revelation, on BBC Newsnight, that the journalist could sense 'lots of testosterone'

Clearly someone was dealing in testosterone and these monsters were high on it.

Worse was to follow.

The Mr Big behind the testosterone trade was siphoning off cash, and laundering it through hospital donations.

Can you believe they sent half a million pounds on equipment for a children's hospital.

Oh lord! Won't someone think of the children

Luckily, once the FT journalist had laid bare the testosterone trail, the charity was closed down.

The hospital was shamed into giving the money back, so that no child would be spared the indignity of having its life supported by money tainted by a male androgenic hormone.

If it stops one child's life from being life supported, I suppose it was all worth it!

I am shocked, shocked, that money is being used to support unwell children, right here in London.

I can't believe we are having this conversation in the 21 st century.

The President's Club had its tentacles in support of all kinds of other charities too.

No wonder the media opened a can of outrage and burst a Twitter cloud.

And you ask me if ladies should be allowed to join The Crystals?

Oh my goodness. Those poor ladies. They think they are enjoying themselves while everyone admires their beauty and earning some reasonably good money.

But oh no. They are deeply unhappy to be exploited by the evil patriarchy. They just don't know it yet.

If I told my wife I liked her hair, she would kick me so hard I would end up wearing my scrotum for a Pussy Hat.

This is what a feminiserabilist looks like. I am happy. Honest.

What with F1 girls and darts girls going, it can only be a matter of time.

I mean, sure they can dance, but I'm not sure that's gonna swing it in today's environment?

Shame - as they were the only Palace team with a cracking pair upfront!

Now here's Wright, his first chance to see what he can do, and he's through, it's Wright, ohhhh what an impact by the substitute. And it's Ian Wright who's sent the Palace fans into ecstasy!
