Pulis and Sam DIDN'T bring in ANY players, they didn't buy them with their money, they recommended the players to they wanted to Parish, who then did the deals, payed the money and is now paying their wages. Not having a go at you Rudie, sorry if it looks that way, just trying to make a point in favor of Pulis

The point stands. Respected managers get us prepared. Others end up seeing us in a shambles of some sort. There is no doubt some fear of them walking early doors if the necessities they list are not addressed. Parish is a deal maker, not a football strategist or decision maker. That has never been clearer and our squad being effectively subject to a game of Kerplunk, whether intentional or not, makes it even more alarming.

I Prefer Jordan, Parish & co wouldn't be owners if it wasn't for the Palace fans demonstration outside the headquarters of Lloyds Bank in central London. So its thanks to the fans that Parish & co brought Palace in the first place.

Jordan ran the club into the ground, lied about buying the stadium.

It is not really Parish's money is it? He is just an employee in the same way the managers are.

Honestly think there's a danger of him taking advantage of Roy's decency during this window. Roy's not the sort of chap to walk away mid season, or cause too much of a public scene, but not making a single sub two games on the spin is clearly not happy with the squad. Parish has to pull his finger out and get the keeper and a striker that he recklessly and frankly embarrassingly failed to get this summer. No amount of soft-soaped interviews from grateful podcasters change anything on the pitch.

Just listened to it too on a long drive down to Florida. Parish suffers from muddled thinking, at 1 point he says "we all make mistakes" then later "I dont have regrets /dont live in the past". This alone tells you he struggles to think cohesively. He cares WAY too much about the criticism he gets from fans, he mentioned it about 15 times, and played the victim card so many times too. I am pretty disturbed that our Chairman cares quite so much about twitter abuse etc. He reckons a large part of the fan base who dare to criticize him do it unfairly and never give him credit for things he does well. Every single fan out there is eternally grateful for what he has does to save this club but it doesn't give you a free ride to balls things up time and again, Steve. Parish basically said you always get screwed when signing players early in Jan windows, so unless he gets an absolute bargain, he dithers and delays on making signings, even with us in the worst injury crisis of RH's entire career (the bloke is quite old). Its incredible that we havent made a single signing, and its down to dithering Steve and his "lets mess around on the 31st and get good deals" strategy. Where did that leave us in the last window with Niasse and Tosun - according to Tosun's agent we had a deal and ballsed it up by not doing the paperwork on time, and as for Niasse, what a joke. When will Parish learn? Seems never. I would rather have someone else, a real football man, run the transfer side of it, without his input. Parish can run the business side of things, as that is what he knows. Edited by Maine Eagle (20 Jan 2018 7.40pm)
