Compared to Bournmouth who got nobody in we’ve done quite well, and Sørloth looks like he might be a really good player, and at least we now have two recognised strikers rather than just Benteke. Had we also got Guaita and Amadou across the line we would have had a brilliant window. As it is, I think Merson scored it about right when he gave us a B-. Our genuine first team squad is still very light however and very vulnerable to injuries and loss of form. Our genuine first team 11 haven't played together for some time and we haven't done too bad. And we now have 3 good additions to the squad...

My word.It will really be a 'Dagger through the heart' of many of our supporters if, God forbid, we are relegated. And spare a thought for staff members who might lose their jobs should this be our fate. Will be devastating for them.Yes nobody will be "Killed" but let's not play down the affect it will have. Why would they lose their jobs if we were to be relegated? Maybe a couple of frilly jobs perhaps, but I would think that it would be that many?

Another incompetent failed window by Beaky and pals. Same again in the summer, probably with a new manager when Roy's decided he can't be arsed putting up with this s***

Been speaking today with someone from Bournemouth involved in recruitment at the club and he knows absolutely nothing about the players we have signed. Will try and speak to him later - he was in a meeting. My statement was based on the fact that clubs tend to restructure after a relegation due to loss of income and job cuts are a sad consequence. I think it was A.Villa who announced a couple of years ago that they might need to reduce their headcount by 100 on acount of relegation. Edited by Willo (01 Feb 2018 12.45pm)

True supporters should not care what league we're in??. I consider myself a true supporter and really hope we stay I'm the premiership and would hate to see us relegated. .

As a matter of interest why should we be interested in the opinions of an unknown person from Bournemouth on our new players?
