Reported on Sky Sports Transfer Center at 10:59 Eagles boss Roy Hodgson wants to add another striker to his squad this month and is also interested in the Celtic forward Moussa Dembele. Sky in Italy believe Palace have already made a bid for the Babacar

How much is Dembele realistically worth? £15m - £20m. £20m appears to be the figure being quoted but no-one seems to know where that figure has come from. Are we going to spend that much on one player this window?

dont know why everyone is getting wet on this one. There are some bang average players in the Celtic team that look like world beaters playing against sh1te every week (Griffiths, Sinclair et al). There's no evidence to suggest Dembele is as good as everyone on here seems to think. He looked as awful as everyone else when they were getting thumped almost every game in the CL.

He may or may not be able to do it in the Premier League - only time will tell - but 32 goal in 49 games last season, including 5 in the Champion's League, suggests he's a decent finisher - even if you do have to take the level of league opposition into account. only ever placed 1 bet when I was a young lad, £10 each way on the Derby 30+ years ago. I won about £100 and so I am up on the bookmaker as far as I am concerned.
