This post has been merged from a topic called 'Uh oh ..... bad timing or what ?' by Midlands Eagle Pulis probably has turned them down because he would certainly want some investment guarantees to help him keep them up, after all it was lack of those that allegedly helped him to jump ship from Palace. They did sell Siggurdson and not reinvest, after all, and that's one of the main reasons they are where they are...

They sold Sigurdsson, Llorente and Cork amonst others ie Gomis,Barrow,Kingsley,Emnes etc etc. Some have gone out on Loan. They brought in Clucas,Mesa,Sanches,Bony and Abraham but thus far it hasn't paid dividends. My understanding is that they received some £73 Mill from transfers but only spent around £45 Mill. They have lost their way a bit but asset stripping is a bit much. They haven't. Swansea fans are absolutely livid with the way the club is being decimated. You may want to have a peek at their planet swans forum.

I believe their big gripe is with the 'Board' and they never really had it in for Clement. The club seemed to have lost their way in the past couple of years or so.

A few years in the land of milk and honey of the Premier League and it brings some entitlement to fans.... May it be a warning for some of us. I for one would love to see them go down, with the "business" they did with a feeless transfer of Vorm to Spurs in a swap deal a few years ago ,they thieved Utrecht, a small Dutch club out of their sell on fee. That deserves bankruptcy in my unforgiving mind
