It's just a negative side of human nature that a certain percentage out of every group of humans will lie for attention....for some twisted gain, small or large or like I say just attention.

Humans are fecked up....always have been, always will be.....that's why it's always nice to find an honorable one.

This case is just one of countless.....This type of behaviour was also seen connected to Grenfell in those claims by numerous individuals that they had witnessed children being thrown down to safety from various high stories.

People say stuff in emotional states....some repeat what others say and present it as fact. Some just outright lie for effect or embellish......the media always eager for attention themselves, in some ways encourage this behaviour by mostly always reporting the 'exciting' over the 'reliable'.

Same old, same old.

When people started asking searching questions about it....suddenly it all falls away.

The older you get....the more savvy you get with the media and their biases and agendas. The more selective you are in whose voices you are willing to listen to.

I'm not defending the guy or what he did, as its clearly wrong as f**k and a crime. But he also just had his home burned to the ground, along with his neighbours and maybe he needed the money?

Wrong, in so many ways, but then everything about the Grenfell fire seems to be about money over values. Is what he did really any worse than the actions of the successive councils, in regards to the build and fire rescue provision.

Maybe its a symptom of the malaise of the modern world, where money has become more important than people and values.

Yup
All about money.
That's obviously why some or a relatively high amount of the flats were sub let or multi tenanted.
For money!!!
Why then have most people refused temporary housing in areas like pimlico. Yes pimlico.
Maybe certain legal 'helpers' are advising not to take these offers and could it be to do with ; yup you guessed ...money.
Glass houses and all.

I seem to remember people were complaining then, it was just a different group of posters.

Same reason maybe there are a lot of British people in Vietnam.

Vietnam being a communist utopia, you would think people would be trying to into the country rather than feeling it wouldn't you?

Its got quite a large ex-pat community out there. Turns out some of these 'communist utopias' are just that if you're a westerner with a bit of money...

Perhaps you should replace, 'westerner' for 'awful person'....with the exception of people their for humanitarian or genuine business purposes.

None of my friends are out there f**king kids. They were attracted to Vietnam because they could sell up here, and went out there to retire young or teach English. A lot of them ended up marrying Vietnamese women and have kids now.

If you want to retire young, and not come back to the UK, Vietnam isn't that bad a choice.
