It will be become a much bigger market than now and societies that want to hold their nose are risking their own societies futures. So you don't start pulling down the arms industry before that happens because it's an innovation industry. As for selling arms. We need allies, so we sell....Some allies aren't nice. In the real world you have to make decisions.....Having a clear conscience isn't possible if you are going to do your job properly and carry out the national interest.

Clearly the correct decision as it has enraged the left wing nut jobs so much - as a general rule of thumb, if you are unsure about an issue, just take the opposite view to the left's 'analysis'.

There was conflict, of course, before the colonials but as tribes they had their own ways and were not beholden to others as they were once Imperialism had had its way. Yeah...as stated previously...several times. Imperialism was bad but it is also human nature. These tribes also wiped out enslaved those before them. There behaviour was no better or worse....but they were culturally and technologically backward and hence taken over. That's what happens when your cultures sh1t and you have morons for leaders. You just become the guardians of stuff until someone more powerful comes along. Originally posted by Kermit8
Best you stick to I.T. and leave History to those who don't assess it emotively. What was that you said again? Ah, yes - your version of the Vietnam War has changed somewhat. Because you now have some facts Here endeth the lesson. I've looked into this a few times. I have no doubt that there are loads of people who I would listen or read on regarding these matters. But it wouldn't be you or matey boy earlier. My view of Vietham wasn't that we shouldn't have been fighting communism. Us fighting communism in Korea and Vietham is one of the reasons...like the Nazis before it that you can type sh1t on a forum. It was that....oh read up on Kennedy about it. I can't be bothered. Regardless, I very much doubt we share the same views on Vietham. Edited by Stirlingsays (21 Oct 2017 9.16pm)

No, but it ended up with one ethnic group/tribe over-lording over others within these new made-up countries once the colonials had left whereas before they hadn't. You want to know why there have been so many civil wars and so much strife in Africa since we, Germany, Italy, France and Portugal have disappeared from that continent? There is your answer. Why aren't they celebrating diversity and vibrancy etc - like what we are told we do/should?

Actually the left-wing nut jobs - the far left - also voted Brexit. Enjoy their company.
