The old Ipswich Town chairman, Patrick Cobbold, was once asked how often the club held Board Meetings.

'' If things are going well, we have them twice a year '' he said.

'' what about when things are going badly '' ?

'' oh then we don't have any at all '' was PC's reply !

To ensure some balance I feel it has to be mentioned that SP didn't take a salary for over 5 years and this only changed when the Americans came in. He was the only prem league chief chairman not to be paid during our first 3 years back in the prem

Oh no! Don't point out anything decent that SP has done on here.

It's true. He didn't. It's in the accounts that were analysed on here and the BBS.

I don't think 12.5 grand a week is a problem to pay a chairman of a premier league football club is it? Weve got a fat winger with dreadlocks masquerading as a centre forward that earns £650 grand in his summer break, whilst holidaying in Dubai and ironing out the all inclusive Buffett.

Benteke missing from 6 yards at anfield (at nil nil) , and a few other decent chances.
Chungy passing it to Burnleys centre forward.
22 shots against Burnley without a goal.
Chances missed to get points v Southampton
Puncheon, Hennessey and a few others not looking interested.

None of the above are parish fault , we could easily be on 6/7 points now and this wouldn't be a discussion.
He has f*cked up this year:
-no new keeper
-1 fit centre forward
-FDB

But unlike some of the players he make lack experience/ability, don't think he lacks effort.
£650 grand a year is f*ck all.

All this is fair, but those misses and mistakes happen in football. What shouldn't happen is those l disgraceful Huddersfield and Swansea matches. If they weren't so badly approached and after such a sh1t summer, the stuff you mention we could absorb. Frank and Parish are responsible for those and other things.
