I made a similar point on another thread. Let he who has never made a mistake at work cast the first stone. But what makes you think that someone who refrains from criticising has no opinion? We all have opinions. Most people, including SP, believe he coc*ed up. But most people won't criticise him, there is little point. He clearly is already beating himself up and has much more to lose personally than the rest of us. I prefer a balanced diet, constant whining on the HOL is just a pointless downer. Best to enjoy whatever we can about supporting our club rather than moan and moan and moan. Edited by Mapletree (04 Oct 2017 11.47am) Parish says he's going to sort it out. He can't. The window is shut. Benteke is listed to be out for Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham and the next match. Spurs I think. He then comes in rusty v Everton I think and 2 yellows away from suspension. This is more than a c0ck up. It's a repeated approach. He tells fans on the train a striker is coming, but there isn't. How much did he make from selling TAG? The only thing he loses from Palace is the few mill he put in, which he won't, or the capital gained from being in the prem, and with this relaxed or risk taking and chancing approach, is about to evaporate. 4 more games to support without a good enough pattern of play at this level without a striker. If I didn't have more than 1 season ticket I'd consider not bothering until a proper team is available for selection. Edited by Rudi Hedman (04 Oct 2017 1.32pm)

Edited by Rudi Hedman (04 Oct 2017 1.32pm) Only a few mill huh, drop in the ocean I bet. Them's them breaks I guess, its all well and good saying we have to spend this, and that, when its not your money that is being spent. We went in quite big over the January window, and then shelled out 30m for a Defender in the Summer. That's not exactly chump change even when talking in terms of premiership money - The wages and the transfer fees stack up quite high I guess. And when they ponied up and bought the club and the ground, which and made a loss of about 5m a year until we got promoted I didn't see anyone bandying around trying to raise extra funds for the club to help soften that loss, or when they honoured the season tickets - I don't remember people saying, nah its ok - I'm going to buy a new one. But when it comes to spending their money, fans are all over exactly what they need to do. The board is the board - you don't get to choose them, its just who ever is stupid enough to buy a club like Palace (I love the club, but no way would I put my money where my mouth was like the Board, Jordan or Goldberk - risking my own financial security so that I can pay for others to watch a game of football, on the off chance the club can get promoted).

I think what’s happened is his mum created the account for him originally and promised him that he could start posting when he was old enough and mature enough. But somehow he’s managed to hack in and start a thread way before he was supposed to.

Are you for real? they got the club for nothing this is why Jordan was annoyed. They are not spending their own money as such it's investment it's not like buying a burger from mcdonalds you then eat it so now you have lost £2 everything at the club is worth something. How did we go in big Jan we didn't what was the spend 30mil that is not big look at how much they are getting back from tv money alone plus all the big clubs have loans on the club yet they have operate no problem that is because you do this in business you do not operate on we sell something for 1mil so we can only spend 1mil.

What makes you think that we are better than Newcastle fans anyway? Well I'll educate you one way if you didn't already know. The so called Geordie roar at St James's? Its a myth. They only truly sing their hearts out if they're playing Sunderland or a top 4 team. Not even always then!

Edited by Rudi Hedman (04 Oct 2017 1.32pm) Believe it or not, you had the choice to chuck your £3m in along with another £9m of your mates money, and thereafter a few more millions in the years leading up to a lucky Premier League promotion when we were minutes away from turning into an AFC. I think deep down you don't like him for himself, rather like many who haven't (including myself) liked certain additions to the club over his tenure.
I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think. |

This protest should not happen. This bickering and panic has to stop. Remember relegation is temporary; class is permanent. (Ps. Easy to dispense such wisdom after a couple of pints!)

Blimey. We’ve been in worse situations before... administration, successive drops under Big Mal.... get the Chelsea game over and start afresh. It’s only a four point deficit and this season there’s lots of rubbish in the Prem. last season was much better quality. It’ll be fine.
