He did everything wrong , absolutely everything , you DO NOT get a side to play the way he wanted that are used to playing basic football . Sorry but our problems are nothing to do with FDB we have been poor for well over a year even under SA we were poor but for a handful of games. We all knew if we lost Wilf and C/B we were going to struggle so its no surprise we are in trouble. Sacking FDB made no sense he had the balls to tell it as it is, bad man management maybe but it looks like he was right some of our players are not good enough and are not working hard enough. We needed a striker as a priority RLC Riedwald and FM look good so its not all bad. Will our players be fired up by RH I doubt it he talks just like D.Moyes did, I hope I am wrong because our best eleven should be mid table.

Wrong? This is all clearly part of a plan, what else can it be? Are you suggesting FDB didn't set out his plans and get some assurances he would be in aposition to recruit what he needed? Equally is it not a clear policy that every transfer window to leave pretty much all of our business to about an hour before the deadline? There is a master plan at work just no one can see it.

There's loads of reasons on a BBS thread, Where did it all go wrong'? My main 2 are: 1. Extending and not sacking Pardew soon enough. Extending beggars belief and highlights Parish's recent ineptitude or negligence. A lot of little issues derived from Pardew, his ineptitude and P and P's pally relationship which isn't healthy, and so it proved, which is why they say what they do about family being in business together. 2. As soon as Frank decided 3-4-3, which was probably last season before he knew we had a vacancy whilst he was watching Chelsea on tv. He said something about it just happening to be us this season. If he decided after arriving he's either a fool or just reckless without an ounce of care of the repercussions from his actions. Nothing wrong with the Liverpool or Burnley performances - we out played Burnley for most of the game. The gift against Southampton was hardly FdB's fault and we were awful against Huddersfield. My understanding from SP is he wanted us to be able to play with more options and choices i.e. so we weren't too predictable. Well that takes time and as mentioned elsewhere de Boer did not have that luxury. I think there is a growing realisation that we do have players that aren't good enough, and the process to replace Sam went on for ever. If there were breakdowns between the Board and FdB they should have been sorted out in real time. The mess is entirely of our own making.

I can't even sleep at night thinking about this! A team is a team, not a bunch of eleven players. We have no team or structure to the squad where the players know what is expected of them and where they stand. Every time Punch goes on to the pitch, what message is that sending - we love mediocrity? Build around players that can make a difference. I think the decline went into free fall the day we signed away Yannick Bolasie (I get it that he wanted out) but the combo of him and Wilf was a defining structure up front. Now we can't score a goal because ..... we have no goal scorers on the pitch - it's not that hard to understand.

I think what Parish should do is really embrace technology how many think it works so advantageously. Forget going to games and 1 to 1 meetings. Parish should watch from the yacht in Spain and only communicate with the manager and other football staff by Skype and telephone. It could actually make him more mysterious which he may love.
