It's weird - the left on here springing to the defence of some wealthy drink and drug addict, knife-weilding student, whose mum has a villa in Milan.

Because they're reasonable people?

According to the soaraway Sun:
"Pals also said the student loved to dress in racy S&M-style outfits and was a regular on the kink scene.
A pal revealed: “She once told someone ‘I’m into some very kinky stuff’. She said she was into BDSM... “She had a wild collection of underwear.”

Does anyone know whether the judge had 'met' her before?

I like a bit of BDSM and know a lot of people on the scene. Its a lot less sexy than I thought it would be - BDSM clubs are surprisingly unsexual.

So what's the appeal then? Or is making it feel somewhat mundane part of the appeal?

Asking for a friend.

Definitely detecting a few posters who find the femme fatale scenario quite alluring if not out and out arousing. She's a bit fiery, a bit unpredictable. Is she going to give you a good seeing to? Or go schizo on you?

Reminds me of Amanda Knox. Would love to get her into bed but wouldn't want to fall asleep next to her..

Crazy. If it were a man stabbing someone, using his educational status to avoid prison and breaching bail conditions by contacting the victim there would be absolute uproar.

I do wonder how much her career prospects will truly be unaffected. The media will probably hound her from now on, shes even said she's recognised everywhere and this is going to follow her wherever she goes. I think she will find a fair few problems off the back of it.

On the other hand, her career prospects in fetish p*** have been exponentially enhanced!

Not surprised by this, this sort of thing happens all the time.
In general if you can afford a good lawyer you can get away with most things, a solicitor told me this once.
Its even more bent in the states but our legal system is just as corrupt.

Any of you with daughters wouldn't be quite so tolerant of her silly mistake if they hooked up with some druggy alky on tinder who threw a laptop across the room then proceeded to use a bread knife and stab them in the leg. Before being let off due to their career prospects and after they breached bail conditions by contacting your daughter. There would be absolute uproar with the person being branded a potential killer and menace to women everywhere. Whats the difference here. I Am failing to see what it is to be honest. Anyone remember that pysco Tracey Andrews??
