As I have said a tactic used by the Nazi's in the 1930s, next eugenics.

BINGO!

Interesting. You believe that Labour has a plan on Brexit?

I don't think they do and I certainly don't think that anything Corbyn or McDonnell have done on Brexit is brave or ideologically led. They have and continue to stumble through the process.

Keep fooling yourself that your position is correct but apply nous and you come to the conclusion that Labpur is as split as the Tories are on Brexit.

No one has a f*cking clue about Brexit because all sides can see the massive economic sh*tstorm on the horizon. The Bundestag and ECB are going to f*cking murder us with any transitional trade deal, the banks will clear out of London and instead of a competent, highly intelligent group of politicians leading us, we have the political equivalent of the cast of Loony Tunes lead by a woman who's had a mental breakdown leading us.

Still, at least we can shut down the borders. Not that anyone will want to come here soon...

Implying that Labour are a 'competent, highly intelligent group of politicians' is possibly the funniest thing ever written on these boards.

Thank you for making me laugh.

Be worried, very worried if you agree with eugenics.

Just a note to people who may want a labour government
We can all be poor but equally poor
We can all be rich but equally rich
Socialism might work in very small and moderated situations
The fact is
'you cannot create wealth by dividing wealth'
That is the mantra of the left I'm afraid
Vote at your peril

Back before science enabled us the opportunity to improve genes to avoid terrible life shortening conditions eugenics was essentially the idea that stopping poor people or mentally challenged people from mating would improve the species. If was about way before the Nazis.

I know of no one officially pushing this nor should they....though people practice a form of indirect eugenics in discriminating over who they ultimately have children with. People with undesirable attributes and conditions don't get to mate as much and are indirectly wiped out over time....Anyone crying for them? Lets demand more people with cleft lip and cleft palates! On a serious note, conditions like those can now be radically improved with modern medicine but there is a reason that it isn't common place and that's mate selection over previous generations when it couldn't be solved.

Anyway, the idea that improving human genes is inherently negative is the domain of the wrong. No one should suffer and it should and can be used to improve life for everyone who needs it. We are moving into an era where we will be able to help and improve human conditions and later on perhaps the disabled, the people with low IQ, and obviously the diseased. No one suffers through these advancements.

The fact that some people still equate eugenics with Hitler's limited time in power just shows that intellectually they haven't moved on....perhaps they are unable to.

People who push emotion over reason are the problem.

I brought eugenics to this thread at least be consistent and ignore my input.

1930s and the Final Solution again. You live in the wrong age, and country, I'm sure you've covered off the political angle.

Quite a few pissed off Northern Based labour supporters on Twi**er apparently not one key note speaker from Oop Norf but mainly the Islingtonistas who have taken over the party. Willing to bet none have plastered a wall, Sawn a piece of timber, wired up a generator, or cleaned a toilet.
