The funniest aspect of all this is Kermit posting how s***e Japan is when he usually posts how wonderful some communist s***e-hole is.

I've been referring to those that don't. You used the example of Wilf for some nonsensical reason. You have brought up 50s Britain, not me. You unethically create strawman arguments to tear down. Well rather than moan perhaps try not to write things you don't mean. How else was i supposed to take the below answer to my question?
Live with them and encourage their adoption of the main culture....Nothing wrong with celebrating your heritage. But multiculturalism is a dangerous and failed ideology."

It's also been apart of many governmental messages for decades.... I believe in more effective policy to lessen multiculturalism....that's the only difference. Your strawman responses are nonsensical and not ethical.

The 10% of BRITISH people who don't share our ethnicity, many of whom were born here as were their parents, need to be "encouraged" more you said to take on British heritage in this new ethnocentric shangri-la. This would include the young and people in their twenties, thirties and forties. All British but they are to be "encouraged" more because of their skin colour; which is what one can only deduce from your post. Please rebut. I am genuinely curious as to where you are coming from if not that.

Not sure what that has got to do with what Hedgie's mad brain made him post??? As for reform - 'yes' for those espousing the darker side of Wahhabism. Reform away. But nice genial Mr and Mrs Mawjee who believe in live and let live and are more cultural Muslims than religious ones? Nah. Let him go on his peaceable way and those who are the same. Why do they need reforming on their moderate take on their religion? Not all of them are fanatical. Edited by Kermit8 (14 Sep 2017 6.19pm)

However a significant proportion of them do and they cause a lot of problems in the country and other countries. It is definitely not just Wahhabism....which is largely the message you push. See Maajid Nawaz for details.

Knowing about Poland, which is far closer, makes far more sense. We went to war after Poland was invaded and Poland is European and western, as are we. Unless there is a purpose, outside of geographical educational knowledge, for someone to know about the name of a particular state in India then there isn't much point in highlighting it. Unless you have a connection to India, then knowing much more than what the capital is isn't to be expected. I know a bit more about India because I'm a cricket nut and due to our historical connection with India as I like history.... but I didn't know about that state.

Yes, they should...there could be a whole thread on why, the short reason is social cohesion, which I have written much on....skin colour has nothing to do with it. You should be ashamed to even bring that up. Stop being obsessed with things like skin colour. How many times have I had to say this?.....I humbly ask you to stop doing it.
