I was not overjoyed on this appointment but I think he is competent and with the team fit this should be the easiest job he has ever had. I fear we have had some pretty awful management since Pulis. Each one has had the team and resources to succeed on a small scale and each has failed. Sam took forever to get them to play.and the rest just failed. I give Roy all my support as I have for all those before him

I agree with this.welcome Croydon Roy. He will get us organized. Wonder if there'll be a press conference tomorrow?

Clearly, Roy wants to retire on a high. Fourth place finish this year and Champions League Final next year. Come on Roy of the Palace!

Wonder if Sammy Lee will remain on the coaching staff with Roy and Ray or will another coach come in Gary Neville?
