Absolutely ridiculous. I've been a fan since 1979 and this is the most preposterous thing I think we've done in that time. Stupidity of the highest order.

Yesterday we saw clear signs of de Boer turning things round. No evidence of losing the dressing room. Only thing he did wrong was starting Lee but even that wasn't unreasonable given how he played coming on the previous match. Bring back the injured players into that game and we would be scoring goals and winning matches.

The only possible rationale I can think of is that de Boer went to Parish and told him he wasn't playing that system week in week out and they had a bust up. If de Boer walked on that basis then there's not much you can do. Maybe they just can't work together because of a personality clash.

But if Parish sacked him on the basis of four results - and frankly only two bad performances - then it's Parish who has lost the f***ing plot.

And if he thinks Woy is any kind of replacement he's deluded as well.

Mods - this should be in fun talk!

Christ. So we trade frank for hodgson. What a f***ing joke. Show some ambition, perhaps too much, by employing someone who is going to change the system and infrastructure drastically, taking ages to actually get him in, and then give him only four games. What a disgrace. What a sorry sight for the premier league, no manager will want to risk changing anything. Only the very best teams with the money for world class players and the best managers will be able to play attractive football or change their style up. Parish may have had a great deal of pressure from investors and the yanks, but he's been a right tosser here if he's made the call.

The irony is the team played really well yesterday, and showed a lot of guts and skill. The 'good news' from this fiasco is that Sakho will be fit to play soon, and Loftus Cheek and Zaha too. So hopefully the team can settle down and play 4-3-3 ...and get some points in the board....

Steve Parish you have to hold your hand up and say you made the wrong call with FdB.

Hope it's not Roy Rogers! Trigger was the last manager

Its all about results, I think de Boer was too naive at this level. Everyone got excited cos we played well yesterday - it was against Burnley who don't like possession and were poor & we still lost.
Personally I think its the right move - welcome Woy!

What an absolute joke decision! A chance to change our club and playing style wasted.

That's all very well but if FdB was a wrong call WTF is Hodgson? He made Kane take corners and turned Rooney into a tailor's dummy FFS.

Even more preposterous than the Goldberg/Venables/Lombardi triptych? Wow!

This will be our fourth manager in 9 months and Parish is the boss.

Call me Sherlock but I believe I may have an inkling of where a big chunk of the problems within the club come from. Some of his twitter stuff last night was embarrassing too.

This is very concerning, FDB deserved at least 8-10 games. We face a tough run of fixtures over the next 4 games and I cannot see things improving only worsening. We will be fighting the drop all season. Question marks over Parish, can't argue he's done great things for us, however of late I am struggling to understand the logic or direction, we seem to have done a U-turn after 4 games. Can see saturday being a very peculiar atmosphere.
