Reported on Sky Sports Transfer Center at 10:59 Eagles boss Roy Hodgson wants to add another striker to his squad this month and is also interested in the Celtic forward Moussa Dembele. Sky in Italy believe Palace have already made a bid for Babacar Edited by talisman (16 Jan 2018 11.07am)

If we add a keeper and cb in there could be too much dough overall though..

Think Roy is fed up with a non-scoring striker. He pats Tekkers on his back and talk him up, but can't be satisfied with the shifts he put in. Like for instance, revived Bakary Sako who not only scores, but also more often is at the right spot at the right time. Would not mind Babacar & Dembele, then cut the losses and let the Belgian leave....

Yesterday on Talksport their European football expert commented on 2 of our targets. Babacar - Very complimentary feels he is ideal for the Premier league, big strong fast. Good player if we can get him. Ibrahim Amadou - He reckons we have asked only asked for a loan move. As Lille are in financial difficulty he thinks they are only interested in a sale as they need the money.

Looks like Babacar is the leading option for Palace though I guess we can dream at the moment for both Babacar and Dembele. A player like Amadou seems a must given our CB injury situation, but it looks like we will have to pay cash to get him

one comment parish made re transfers; targets are highlighted, things move then suddenly the goalposts change - i feel babacar would be a great addition; but i'd much rather pay a few quid more for dembele if the rumour is true. Either way, we need another striker if not 2!
