It was a Jim white question. Sam didn't go on and start praising himself. He was invited on and answered the questions. Palace talk?

Ah you're right. I had looked at a reply to it and misunderstood. That said, his replies hardly have much get up and go about them. A vague maybe I'll be interested when I can be bothered vibe.

It was Jim whites question but it's what I think might happen, somewhere, somehow.

3 little birds sitting on a window. You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow.

Different meaning I know to a man in his 60s who knows himself already.

Not interested 'at this moment in time' Hmmm... He probably wouldn't want another SOS job, But if Palace were for example lower mid-table in December, maybe he would like a 'build the club into stability' brief? Would feel much safer Sam doing that than FdB.

When you're into your 60s, very rich and actually has no job offer, are you likely to be bouncing about? He's just come back from Hawaii. Are you surprised he's relaxed?

If we are lower mid table in Dec then any manager who gets us there from now will be going nowhere.

By the same token are you very likely to be able to muster much enthusiasm and passion? We're looking for results, not to give an old man something to do.
