It's an interesting idea in the video. How far would you extend family? Second cousins, in laws?

Would you like to be punished if one of your relatives was a wrong un?

This is about terrorism and I'm not a terrorist.
Don't want it to happen to your family? Don't be a terrorist.

You didn't answer the first part. Should in laws be deported?

I'd say you are being the opposite.
There is no excuse for indiscriminately murdering women and children.
Are you seriously saying that European citizens are to blame for any policy that has lead to the deaths of Muslims and that that in itself would justify these attacks in any case?
Have you forgotten that these very same Islamists types have been murdering Muslims in huge numbers as well?

I think that applies to everyone, and doesn't really require the indiscriminately either.

I don't think that any issue can be attributed easily to a single decision mind, the US NATO and European campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan (and Libya) aren't entirely without consequence in world events, nor equally are the actions of players in the middle east or Islamist groups rise within the middle and far east.

Nothing is simple about anything.

Depends on circumstances I expect. Drastic measures don't tend to be subtle.

What that guy just suggested for starters.
We have to take steps to protect ourselves even if some innocent people suffer as a result. That is war.
Deport anyone connected to an active Islamist to their country of origin or imprison them indefinitely.
I would ask you how many shall we allow to die before we become ruthless and set aside 'human rights'.

1000?
10'000?
1,000,000?

How many Nick?

Nothing to do with human rights, you'd have to completely change British law from its fundamental principles inherent from the days of Magna Carta's influence.

The idea of punishing people who are not guilty is about as anti-British as I can imagine something being.

It also affects the right to a fair trial, among other cornerstones of the British Justice system.

Its odd that someone who complains about tearing down statues as the thin edge of the wedge, would suggest a system of 'justice' that would effectively set precedent for tyranny.

Are you sure, though, that you aren't. I mean one of your close friends might be or a family member could be involved in something - Just because they're not Muslim doesn't mean they're not 'involved'.

Its a call for handing over the power of tyranny to the state, which almost certainly will never return it. I mean the easiest argument is then, well we have a bigger problem with Murder in the UK, than terrorism....

Precisely.

In the here and now we have to protect our citizens against those who want to harm them. There will be innocent victims in any action we take.
There has to be a point where we employ more draconian methods.

I'm not an Islamist terrorist and neither are any of my family. We are talking about Islamists.

I understand your concerns but do we just carry on dying like sheep?

Please refrain from such desperate attemps at diversion.

The bloke who runs the newsagents down the road isn't a terrorist and as far as he knows neither are any of his family.

If his second cousin twice removed commitred an act of terrorism, who will run the shop. What happens to any assets they have?

I think you have highlighted why such a policy might work.
If you do bad things then you jeopardise the futures of a lot of people in your community.
That gives them a big incentive to keep people in line.

What should we do with the families of serial killers. Murder is murder after all.

Should Peter Sutcliffes family have been thrown out of the UK?
