Yes, we all have a right to moan. And we all have a responsibility to moan with good reason. All the while there are no competitive matches, there is no reason to moan. Start the moaning when our league position is a cause for concern. Until then give us all a break. Thank you. Some people are pro-active and others are reactive, lets see what happens at the weekend!

If so, it will get very fiesty on HOL with both FDB and Steve Parish in the "Firing line" if the status quo is maintained regards transfer activity. I can hear cries of : "FDB changing things too quickly - revolution rather than evolution" Let us hope that this scenario doesn't come to fruition and we win comfortably with plaudits all round. Concur. But wasn't that player Frazier Campbell? Can he score goals? No. But he would have tried his hardest in between the hypothetical Benteke injury and the return of Wickham. He ran his knackers of against Liverpool and I believe Tottenham at home last season (could be wrong). He was vital in holding up the ball when Tomkins went off injured at Anfield. If Benteke gets injured I'd rather play Campbell who knows the position and tell him to just stand there, be a nuisance, feed Wilf, Townsend and Cabaye for the goals over say playing Zaha or Puncheon as a striker etc. Or having faith Ladapo is actually going to try as hard. Campbell played 2 minutes against Liverpool,Tompkins stayed on the pitch.

I love our transfer policy. It gets better every window. The players we have in the team now are better than we have had for years. Where we are as a club is better than it has been for many years.

If taking our time in the market means we aren't wasting £18.5 million on players like Andre Gray and getting in players like Riedewald for relative peanuts in the current market then it's fine by me.

Hi Al, hope you are good, sorry to disagree but fans do have the right to moan, after all they are the paying customers and they want the best for the team. You must agree that our investment in the team this transfer window has been rather poor compared to those teams around us who will also be fighting the relegation battle this coming season. Our defence is poor, the goalkeeper suspect and FdB wants a passing game out of defence using defenders that only know the big boot and hope clearance or are otherwise rather past their sell by date. I can understand that you are a glass half filled person and that has to be admired but being optimistic is not going to keep us out the relegation battle unless some quality players come in before the window closes. Hope I'm wrong but have a bad feeling about Saturday, we will probably have a lot of possession and attacking but in the end the defence or GK will make a mistake and we will lose 0-1! OMG PUH-LEEEEESE..... Who do Huddersfield Town have that can stop zaha and benteke. Anyone?!

We have been notoriously sh1te at home against teams that come for a 0-0, because we haven't had a manager or players that believe in moving the ball around patiently to get a clear chance.

Jokes, so much tonne positive and on the day we make another great signing people are posting we are under prepared. And when Liverpool United or any other top team make a signing next week, does that make them under prepared. Would you rather we spent our money last week on Chambers or waited to push a free loan for Fosu through meaning we still have funds left. Meaning we can still do more buisness becuase we haven't spunked our load early. Team looks more prepared than Pardew ever got them during a preseason. Yesterday OP was bumping the Parish out thread telling him to spend money. Today we sign another great loan player and he's writing thrreads we're not prepared. Make your mind up. Funny how i never see any of the other moaners saying the club has done well securing LoftusCheek, JR or Fosu maybe that's becuase they don't rate them. Or maybe it's only becuase they ever crawl out to moan about things. Never a positive comment by some. Since big Sam threw the towel in I think Palace have excelled in getting done what they got done. Yes there's a bit to go yet but Parish and Frank are making shrewed deals so far all of which look fantastic. What really is the issue..? We only lost one preseason game. We look solid. We've signed great players and are linked with others. And yet people still MOAN. Couldn't make it up...
