It's hard to believe that there's any truth in this based on the fact that the Daily Star is the first newspaper to report it. However, the fact that Steve Parish is yet to tweet a denial is worrying.

Many things are possible in modern football. For me, the price of £ 200 million for our club stands out: that's Palace, in total, for one Neymar! Or is it?
Promotion under Bert Head to the top division for the first time, Yogi Hughes's "screamer" against Sheffield United, Malcolm Allison's/Peter Taylor & the cup run,"The Team of the 80's", 2 Cup Finals, Play off final joys against Sheffield United ("Hopkins looking to curl one in" & West Ham at Cardiff Millennium Stadium,Wright & Bright, A.J., Stockport & Sheffield United final day survival, recent Premiership success, that comeback against Liverpool and beating Arsenal & Chelsea under Big Sam plus every thing else involved in the intense experience that is life as a Palace supporter; that's more than one Neymar!

Nothing wrong with that as The Donkey Sanctuary is one of the most popular charities in terms of fund raising and always earns more than it spends

Steve Parish is under NO obligation to confirm or deny any stories in the media whether it be transfer targets, managerial targets, interest from outside parties, other developments at the club etc etc.

I saw this quote and really sums up in a sentence what could happen if it is true.

"...Adams in charge of Granada in April, but the La Liga side lost all seven games under him and were relegated."

You're certainly right in that his preference is for confirming his latest holiday destination

You are right should have said and I didn't mean to write it as a statement of fact either - I had heard this is what has happened from a guy I work with in the city - he is not always completely reliable, but does work on the legal side of football deals (although not on this purported deal to be clear).

There would've been a statement submitted to companies house listing ownership and directors if this were true. Those statements are publicly available. Unless those statements exist, your friend is wrong.

As has already been pointed out, This story would appear to fail the credibility test, but it doesn't say that Adams would be appointed manager if it were to happen. Any prospective owner who had that in mind would fail the sanity clause.

No-one is under any obligation to confirm or deny anything but if there is no truth in the rumour then Steve "man of the people" Parish has nothing to lose by denying it as he knows that it is a matter of concern for the many fans that don't have the personal access to him that you claim to have
