Mate, it's quite simple. We spent about £50 mil last season and it's likely to be £30 mil net this season or summer. That'll make the workable average of £40 mil. I don't quite know what more there is to analyse or dissect.

Whatever it is , it is not going to be enough to make us play the way Frank wants us to and actually compete. Can only hope he has a bit of a rethink. My biggest hope is I am so wrong.
