It would appear that me being "Boring" is not just confined to HOL !

At the end of the day all I was trying to do was to give some background information on Huddersfield.Oh by the way, prior to coming to Huddersfield, Wagner had never managed a 1st team before but he had worked with Klopp and Rangnick.

HelloTerriers, welcome to SE25.Pressume rail travellers arriving at Kings Cross or St Pancras, best way to the ground would be Victoria Line U/ground to Victoria then train to Thornton Heath usually from platforms 9-12.Lots of places to get food on way to ground in T Heath highstreet.

I am wearing a tin hat, but if the Huddersfield fans are still looking at this forum, just wanted to say well done for today. Reminded me of your performance against Brighton last year. Rushed us on the ball and stopped us playing. We were dreadful but that doesn't detract from some of your players putting in a great shift, especially the guy with the bleached hair (presumably) that grabbed two of your goals.

Sometimes hot headed Palace fans will come on here the night after a defeat and bait the fans of the team that beat them. Ignore them until tomorrow when they cool down because most of us do enjoy the insights of opposing fans.

Just please do to Brighton what you just did to us or otherwise I might retract this!

As for you Terriers, it would be 'typical Palace' if we lost to you on the 1st day. IF that does happen, just don't take the pi55 too hard...and don't encourage any stupid celebrations in front of us, please. I've only just saved up enough change and lighters after last season.

Well done today, and for not taking the pi55 with w4nky wind-up celebrations. You team showed far more desire than us today and you fully deserved the 3 points. Your team even got a begrudging clap off the field from me. One day we'll beat you lot! I hope..

On the train back to Yorkshire feeling very pleased but also realising while it's tremendous to win our first match at the top level for forty years, one swallow doesn't make a Summer.

We did the same at the start of last season and oddly enough we played Newcastle Utd 2nd match. Back then every other fan I met said it won't last (particularly our noisy neighbours Leeds Utd) but they shut up eventually.

Not that I'm saying we'll cause major surprises but I think it could be time for some fans (not ours) to realise David Is Wagner is a bloody genius.

Good Luck from now on until you come up to 'Gods Own' obviously!

Well done today, your team was good and your fans were great. No hard feelings from me. Wish you a safe journey back and good luck for the rest of the season.

Cheers! Back home in Leeds now and reflecting on today and the distance we've traveled as a club since Dean Hoyle bought into it and after David Wagner was appointed.

It's truly incredible and while it's taken long enough and we've had a number of false starts we've got somewhere near where all Huddersfield Town fans think we should be.

I'm not saying we'll be up in the lofty heights all season but safety and survival has to be achievable on that evidence. Of course the majority of clubs at this level have better players than us but if we can show the same desire and discipline we showed today then we won't go far wrong and earn another season at this level.
