Talking out of the ring hole alert.

Huddersfield weren't s***e. In fact they came up in very similar circumstances to Palace. They were not even close to being touted as possible promotion candidates before the beginning of last season.

Some even predicted they would end up in League 1. They keep Wagner and I see another Bournemouth.

Precisely. In season 2015-16 they ended up 19th so they started last season without many giving them any hope of promotion, indeed relegation was for many more likely. But they made some good signings, Hefele,Schindler,Mooy,Lowe etc etc.

Late Feb/Early March

Spurs H
Man U H
Chelsea A
Huddersfield A
Liverpool H

Then onto:

A tricky run there, but the remaining 6 games of the season are (while still tricky), less difficult than last year:

Bournemouth, Brighton, Watford, Leicester, Stoke, West Brom

Yep you are!

I only mentioned the play-off final in which they were sh!te in a very poor game.

So you've analysed the strength of a team by one performance in possibly the most tense, certainly the biggest in monetary terms, game you could play in.

I stand by my ring hole terminology.

Liverpool away the second week of the season. Easy three points there then :-)

Run in looks like this:

Bournemouth A
Seaweed H
Watford A
Leicester H
Stoke A
Pulis' shower H

Much less alarming than last time...

Noticed this is a Tuesday night game.
Never been to game at the AMEX.
Anyone know if there is good transport links from Clapham Junction, also any idea on latest trains back to london?

Not sure about times but Clapham to Brighton (or change at E.Croydon as there are more trains to Brighton from there) then change for the eastbound line when you get to Brighton, and get off at Falmer which is only about 3 stops up the line.

Yep...I think I would've cried if we'd have had a similar run in that we had last time round...

Seaweed will be kicking off the season with a right thrashing then. They won't know what's hit them.

"New FOREIGN keeper in goal for City. Won't speak the language. Won't know his defence well. Won't like the ball lobbed on top of him. WIll panic at corners.
John Stones is there to be got at. He fell over twice last night when turned. AK will have a FIELD DAY.
Two new wing backs are likely to be deployed by pep. Jamie Murphys direct running will have them panicking.
Yaya's legs have GONE. Pascal Gross will be a free man, gliding into space able to test his luck against the NOVICE in goal.

David Silva may think he's a clever little sod but DALE will put a REDUCER on him nice and early. Welcome to the AMEX you floppy haired Spanish poodle.
Sergio Aguero? Gabriel Jesus? Leroy Sane? Don't make me laugh. DUFFMEISTER and DUNKATHON are going to be LAUGHING when your fancy little stepovers get CRUNCHED by PROPER FOOTBALLERS.

And Pep? You think you can outsmart Chris? Really? Ever heard of COUNTER ATTACK? Press all you like mate. We've got you.

Looks like they're pretty confident
