Well there has been one other piece of activity, if you can call it that, in that a firm f***offity has been issued to Spurs and Arsenal in respect of Zaha.

Money talks 35/40m may say goodbye.

Yet again our faithful fans slagging off Parish or being lazy and not on the ball.

Christ sake he's just signed Wilf to a huge contract. That was number one target for everyone.

Done!

He's no doubt working VERY hard sorting the mananger situation even if he doesn't give you a running up date. And even if he's in a different country! Who cares if or if not he is in Spain which he may or may not be anymore.

Wasn't the FT article written after he signed Wilf in Spain and written during a interview in Soho meaning he HAD returned.....

It's flipping amazing how our faithful fans have so little faith in Parish.

It's been like a week. Chill out.

I'm sure he's also working on the Sakho deal to offer the best we can which like Defoe may not be enough but may be in Palaces best interest not to break the bank for one player. Again trust we will have to place in Parish.

Disgusting to read so many faithful fans sticking it in about him being lazy, on holiday, not spending enough etc etc

Parish will deliver the best he can as always.

Lazy he is not

I trust Parish to get things sorted. Ok he probably should have let Pardew go earlier, but its understandable given his initial impact why he gave him more time than most. But he also replaced him with exactly the right person, and did the same when Holloway wasn't proving up to the task.

Its better to get the right guy, and I think Silva has made a huge mistake in going to Watford, given the ridiculous expectations of their owner.

Again, the mistake was not meeting him and discarding him without discussion. We're going to go round in circles here so best to leave it there.

Btw I've been happy with all his managers but to not interview Silva, delve deeper and actually find out more than viewing a manager on the penultimate day in the sh1ttest job in the premier league yet still make us sh1t our pants until 3-0 up and that's after Sunderland got a shock win disappoints me a lot.

And actually, if Silva 'bottling it' is a concern then that gives us an idea of possible scenarios, does it not? (That's actually a criticism of forum logic more than anything else)

Who says that we never contacted him? Am sure a discussion was had somewhere. Silva made up his mind very quickly regarding Watford so perhaps he had already been lined up by Watford some time ago and they were waiting on him quitting Hull.

Possibly, but, come on, it's Watford.

No point going round in circles with this. I think we should've interviewed him to find out the necessaries we ask. We didn't, some are happy with that, I'm not, we move on.

Those would have been great signings for us. Sakho as well and we wouldn't have to sign much more. A real shame.

Nah, Silva knows he'll be able to get another couple of PL seasons under his belt, and either boost his stock by doing well and moving on, or getting sacked by an owner who everyone knows is mental and so said sacking won't harm his stock at all.

Nothing on their website to say that they have signed either yet?

With begovic they agreed a 10m fee. Defoe well documented that the deal will go through on July 1st

They've had a bid accepted for Begovic. We should have been in for him.
