Martin Kelly was useful in defence, so to was Schlupp.. Connor Wickham looked decent earlier in the season to and Frazier Campbell wasn't bad when he played. I said name me one "excellent" player. Maguire looked there best player but would definitely not regard his excellent. Depends on what one deems "Excellent".

How many away - 2 pts that shocking. What so impressive about him. I think he actual managed 23 points. From 19 games. Now with that squad that is impressive. Obviously if we only look at the game he lost then he's going to look s***! 38 games would have meant 46 points IF the form continued. That's a Hull side that had sold its best players

Surely you want more than survival. So do you think that silva could take us to the top 10 or even survive in the prem as a bare minimum. If your Zaha and silva joined would you stay.

No - but the Hull players I mentioned are good/decent/very good etc etc etc. I'm not actually sure that Townsend would "Get in most PL teams" and perhaps not even Cabaye. This is going somewhat "Off Piste" so let's concentrate on the subject matter.

If he's woeful away form continues.

The impression that I got from Silva was during the transfer window when Hull sold their jewels in the crown. Coupled with their dodgy start I had them down for 20th. I cant really say that I really followed them much but I was surprised that they managed to stay in the race for so long.

I'm in two minds about Silva, doesn't have a lot of premiership experience and when he was at ours a few weeks back after the first goal went in he seemed a little dejected and the Hull players must of noticed that . On the other hand IF Sammy Lee stays then with his premiership experience and guidance then who knows. For me I would take either Mancini or Ranieri...

You are talking about experience at the top level, "Been there done it" types against the relative inexperience of Silva who oveerall hasn't achieved that much of note when one considers the clubs with which he has won trophies and their standing in their respective leagues.

I'd be a lot less likely to stay then if we hired Coleman, Hodgson or Moyes.. Yes. Mancini would be great but I think very unlikely, suggestions such as Eddie Howe are just silly. Marco Silva makes the most sense of anyone we can realistically get, despite your mad expectations that he should've kept that Hull side up. He wasn't "out coached" by clement. Your comparing a team that arguably had less quality than Sunderland with teams that have had a number of years PL experience and quality players. Hull had Snodgrass, and erm oh yeah, he left them.
