Whilst I hope you right. There's probably a get out clause in his contract and by beating hull and staying up he's earned himself 2m survival bonus. Why is there a get out clause and what do you think Parish will open himself up to after Pulis? 'If I don't fancy it I can leave?' Or 'If offered a job then the buy out clause is £3 million?' And yes he has earned himself a bonus but why does that mean he leaves? Please explain. I don't follow the logic. Pulis allegedly had the West Ham job lined up and played dirty, probably for an easier move and bigger signing on fee. So how is Allardyce going to have a get out clause to just leave?

I'm not so sure he'll be short of options. theres always clubs willing to dangle that 2m survival bonus. Like all the club be went for the cheap option this season? To get Allardyce we also had to offer a big cheque book, which turned out to be the biggest. Only big clubs or clubs like us with development programs relying on prem money do that. He hasn't as many chances as you think with the recent past.

Their was a break clause at the end of the season. If both parties could agree to leave without compensation but bonus paid. Like other people mentioned on this thread. He's 62 living in a hotel and if a similar job was offered he probably be off.

Pulis came to Palace with an air of 'i don't really want to be here' about him so no surprise to me anyway when that went pear-shaped. Sam doesn't have that negative aura about him so am hopeful but you gotta remember he is 62, probably living in a hotel when in London, and if he get's the chance to manage a similar sized club as ours nearer to family and home he would probably take it. I agree with this. The only prem club I can think of that fits the bill is Stoke. It takes timing to be right to sign player or manager also. That Pulis-Palace-West Ham case a good example. I don't expect to see him going quite yet. Who gets promoted next season may tempt him but not 2 other southern clubs and Newcastle whose fans detest him.

Imagine your the manager that inherited a squad built by pardew. It's all well a good saying we need 6 players. If Sam doesn't rate Delaney, mcarthur, sako , Campbell, Ledley and flamini and many more. Then it's more of an overhaul job rather than a few additions. Is the budget their to bring in as many as 10 players.

I still don't expect him to leave because there's nowhere else to go. Once the season starts there will either be the usual buy out of contract or Parish should have one signed once Sam starts talking to players. He'd have to stay jobless for a good while now if he left and there's no guarantee he'll get an offer anyway, or it could be from Brighton refusing to spend money. Conclusion is non story.

He preferred schlupp to Delaney at Man City. Mcarthur hasnt put a decent performance in under Sam. Whilst most fans like mcarthur and Delaney. Does Sam ?

I feel like this point has been missed, but is it not normal for a manager to want to know what funds are available, what the transfer policy is etc... after a season ends? surely, this goes hand in hand with the manager and chairman discussing goals for the next season?

His family home is in a Cul-De-sac in Bolton and apart from W.Ham (And ourselves of course !) , his managerial jobs have mainly been in the north. Having secured our survival he will feel that it is "Mission accomplished" and maybe he might feel that he would rather accept another such challenge further up north ? We will of course find out by the end of next week. Yes of course he's about to leave in a huff. He obviously hates being here and would much rather be stuck at the Stadium of Sh!te trying to get out of the Championship with f*** all budget and f*** all players. You could tell that from the scowl on his face and his hands in his pockets when Milivojevic put that penalty away against Swansea. Aye, right.
