I'd have taken that at the start of the season, at Xmas I didn't think it was possible.

But you are always critical of the team, but always praise referees.I think that somewhere in the not too distant past forecast our relegation, since we avoided the drop you have been somewhat quiet, strange way of being a Palace supporter. Straight out of the woodwork today as soon as we let in two cheap goals, though.

We stayed up. Ergo it's a good season. Plenty of room for improvement next term. Only 6 points between 8th and 17th place so 14th is ok. Reasons to be optimistic for season 17/18.

incredibly good recovery from the mess we found ourselves in before Christmas. I'll take 14th. Next season we can aim at 50 points which should give us a top 10 finish. I'd like another cup final most of all Parrot

Key for next season is squad growth and stability in board and management so as to march further up the table. Spot on. Wasn't it seven or eight years ago when the club was in administration and now we're looking at the fifth successive season in the Premier League. That has got to be positive in anybody's books.

Without Cabaye in the side we are generally s***e. Yesterday we got beat by United reserves. Our players didnt put in the effort that us travelling fans deserved. We had a header from Benteke and a free kick that were our only attempts on goal. Often we were in positions to have a shot and then passed sideways or back. Hennessey seems to get beaten easily. 2nd goal he could do nothing about but the first a good keeper may have saved. He is not a Premier League keeper and far too weak.

The second went through his legs. Can't see anyone stopping the first. Would have helped if Kelly had put in a challenge.

If he leaves we will need the right replacement and to get the system working properly again, and in any case we will need proper cover for this role. In my mind this is the most important issue for the transfer window; at the moment we just don't function unless Cabaye is there and we're as dependent on him as Swansea are on Gylfi.

It was the greatest achievement when Pulis managed 13th, with more time (although admittedly we were also bottom). Very happy with 14th this season, as anywhere above the bottom three was the target when Sam came in. And its better than last season!

Man Utd's second team, are still pretty good and it was a meaningless game, after several months of very desperate, hard work. Once we were safe, I'd have been happy if they'd come out in the swimming trunks, towels over the sholders carrying beach towels. Problem maybe when you play against the United youngsters, is that you're playing against a side that want to prove their worth, when you've just finished a horrible and tense season of very hard work. Looking around at a few of the other games, we got off pretty lightly, all of the top clubs put in some pretty harsh finishes to the season. I feel sorry for the Hull fans who turned up to the Spurs game. Spurs were brutal.
