Hello everyone, my name is Gareth Thomas and I'm a former rugby player, wrong shape ball joke there for you! Being gay myself (hope you don't think I'm going on about it there), I'm really interested in reading some of your opinions on the issue of chanting and what some people consider homophobic language; what do people think is the line between abuse and banter when it comes to football chants? I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, but should also be brave enough to defend their opinions when challenged.. On that note, I'd really like to invite some of you to meet and exchange opinions on this subject. I'm making a documentary for the BBC and feel it's important to include a range of opinions and fan bases. Let me know what you think on this subject, (not on me..I come in peace!)Gareth Thomas. In what way are you not fishing for homophobes and a story that says 'these Neanderthals are why footballers are reluctant to come out.' Get even the smallest amount of "does your boyfriend know your here " footage from the Amex, get 3 people to say on camera they don't like gay people, and bingo. Couple of hundred grand from the BBC right there. It's cheap and you should be ashamed if that's the goal.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

I'm 99% sure that straight couple are more likely to engage in anal sex than gay couples, so saying someone takes it up the arse isn't realy homophobic is it?

I must admit to being intrigued as to how you became 99% sure of this; was it based on empirical data gained through observation, or another source? And also, what was it that introduced the 1% uncertainty factor?

Not quite sure you're right with the 99%. However, many straight couples will engage in anal, so you're right in that taking up the arse isn't necessarily homophobic. There will be some female Weed supporters. Unless of course being gay now means you own the phrase?
