Yes there is. We saw it; he was awful.

Yep, he was s**t. You can tell by the amount of times increasingly desperate teams relied on him. If you can't get in a Boro team, which isn't scoring goals, as a striker - you're in trouble.

He's not got the work rate or the focus.

Ummm.....he was a 21 year old kid when he was at Palace. He played 100 minutes for Palace, 200 for Norwich and 68 for Middlesbrough in the Premier League. Really no way of saying he's awful. He might do well in the future.
And he was in no way a constant poacher in the lower leagues like Vardy or Ighalo or Callum Wilson or Charlie Austin or Rickie Lambert or Glen Murray or Danny Graham. These guys all did well in the top league

How many of those have scored 15+ goals in the top flight more than once ? Surely that is the minimum requirement for prolific.

Rarely players will score or assist 15+ in the PL if they're not playing for Top 6 sides.

Not wanting to piss on chips, but as things stand today the Weed are in the PL next season whilst we are still sweating our survival this season ready for next season's PL. So we must get a point or 3 against Hull on Sunday and hope the Mackems beat the Swans on Saturday.

Yeah, too right, JB.

I'd be waiting a bit before gloat time.

Just imagine Brighton waving to us as we pass each other: them on the way up, us on the way down.

Fancy that?
