1. Who said anything about Blackburn, Wigan etc ? 1. You obviously don't enjoy the Premier, those clubs were but vanished due to no investment.

thank christ Pardew is gone. now lets get rid of his hangover effects in the squad over the summer. The useless players, the bad attitude, the fatalism, the tactics, the pardew smell.

Not a great season we've obviously had worse what makes it worse is we are always with in sight of success like. Last season was hard getting to Wembley and not winning the cup. Pardew should have gone earlier. Mistakes have been made but now we have Sam I think we will buy better. If we stay up next season could be the one that changes everything. Bring on Hull.

If we stay up this will be he most successful period in the clubs 100 year plus history. An "awful season"....is that because we missed out on the champions league again ?

If we stay up which is by no means certain then that could be classed as success. Edited by The Dolphin (08 May 2017 7.27am)

I think there is no denying that this season has been a disappointment. But not exactly unexpected. The writing was on the wall a year ago in terms of results and performances. Whatever League we are in next season, I will at least go into that season with faith in the manager. Sam isn't everybody's cup of tea, but he tells it like it is and has far greater footballing knowledge than his predecessor . For what it's worth, I think we will stay up. And then we need a significant re-structuring on the squad front in the summer.

To me it will indeed be an "Awful season" if (God forbid) we are relegated.I can think of other negative words as well ! If we manage to stay up, which some will say is either a possibility or probability, then there will be such relief that there might be a tendency to be a bit more positive about the season than it perhaps warrants.Disappointing - but my goodness we are in the PL next season !

We have not been good enough over the course of a whole season and dare I say it will be playing Championship football next season. Today showed that. No amount of injuries can excuse that performance today. I for one just hope that this will be a wake up call for Parish and realization that he should have sacked Pardew after the cup final! Also it will hopefully stop him hanging around with his so called mate Brighty and that fake, Judas,so called legend Ian Wright and he will start to see what it really takes to make this club successful! Cannot wait for this season to end! Really, because having one central defender, who probably doesn't have 90 minutes in him, and we were playing one of the best teams in the league. Sure their form was intermittent, but on the day they were fantastic. I think we all are aware that with hindsight Pardew should have gone earlier, but that's where we are. As for calling Wright a fake and judas, you should be ashamed of yourself.

This has been an exceptionally difficult season to support Palace. After every win my heart says we';ll finish top 10 and all season I have felt we will 'certainly' get relegated after every loss. I cannot remember another season like it. Very low lows (Sunderland 0-4, Swansea 4-5...) and very high highs (Arsenal , Chelsea...).
