Yeah I think it should have been a red on the replay, but then on the replays Coutinho probably should have had a penalty as well. So I can live with that

So I can live with that Coutinho's wasn't given as he still managed to get a shot away when in a goal scoring position. It was actually a good bit of reffing and is different from a similar thing happening in the middle of the pitch as Klopp referred to as it's highly unlikely that it would deny a goal scoring opportunity.

No chance of restropective action because the ref gave a yellow. It should have been a straight red and when you compare it to the red card for that Hull player on Saturday it's a joke. Big team bias once again !! are there not any chance of appeal? i'd think there needs to be contingencies for cases of gross incompetence from the referee.

The referee should have pulled it back for the penalty when it was blocked a second later. Full kudos to Coutinho staying on his feet, but had he not tripped there is no way that was getting blocked. Had Coutinho gone down like most players do in that situation, he would certainly have got the penalty (and likely a card for Kelly). As I said, I'm happy to accept the non-red and that not being a penalty.

Big team bias once again !! No way was that Hull red justified - The ref got that wrong. Luckily for both sides, it had no result on the impact of the game. I think until they have video replays for decisions, its unavoidable that referees will make these kinds of mistakes. One looked a lot worse than it was, and ours looked a lot less nasty than it was.

It was not as obvious from the camera angle but did anyone else spot that he was fouled by Milner, who raked his ankle, before he blazed over the bar, from Benteke's over head kick.

The look on Grujic's face after was enough to merit the Red Card. Career-wise that kind of foul is worse than any elbow to the chops. Nothing really is made of it from our end, all we hear though are the sounds of Scouse discontent, and the media lap it up and echo it round to pander to the victim culture that has been nurtured for decades.

Tomkins left the ground on crutches wearing a protective boot. The ankle is swollen and he is a doubt for the next two games.
