I had an Aunty/Uncle who lived just outside of Valencia & both could speak fluent Spanish as they had lived there 40 odd years. That said they had friends who albeit were decent people never bothered to learn either the language or soak up at least some of the culture.

No we want a full english breakfast and a roast on sunday Actually plenty do.....and the type of food you eat isn't really an issue for anyone is it. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. That's an English expression. What I will say is that I would wish that the Spainish would stop the 'Englishification' of their places with high immigration. I'm no hypocrite on this issue and many aren't. Also the English in Spain contain no subsets within them who threaten the Spanish state or its citizen/subject's lives. I wonder as to the motives of people who make this rather weak point. Edited by Stirlingsays (24 Apr 2017 2.52am)

Hrolf I feel pity and sorrow for some of these posters, London is Ghetto in many more parts than it was in the 70s Not sure where you've been to get that impression. The whole place is completely gentrified now and is in a much better state than it was even 15 years ago. Edited by Brentmiester_General (24 Apr 2017 5.58am)

I just think it's a shame that all that we were will be erased in a relatively short time by a soaring world population and the increasing mass immigration that will mean unless we pull up the draw bridge to a greater extent. I just don't get why you and others waste so much energy worrying about all of this. There's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. One day when you pass away it will still be whatever it will be. And you will have spent your life worrying about it instead of wasting time on more enjoyable thoughts. Not having a dig, just sharing my view on it all.

In most Arab countries Women are forced to cover up shoulders and knees in public places and regardless of religion you have to abide by this. If we have to respect their laws why should they not respect ours. Take the f***ing thing off your head an show your face. I find them very creepy and it must s*** the lives out of some kids.

Third World country's bring Third World problems. Yes the areas where there's been white flight is very obvious.
